Website, app and software development in Jammu and Kashmir
Websites, apps and software for Jammu and Kashmir hotels, craft sellers, orchards and schools, built remotely with realistic planning for connectivity.
NioDelta is a Pune and Nashik studio that builds websites, mobile apps and software for businesses in Jammu and Kashmir. We work over video, WhatsApp and shared files, and plan around internet interruptions rather than ignore them.
The region has two very different business environments in Jammu and the Kashmir valley, plus Ladakh handled separately. We start with a free discovery call, write scope into a fixed quote, and include one month of support after launch.
What Jammu and Kashmir businesses usually need online
Handicrafts, shawls and carpets
Pashmina, papier-mache, walnut wood carving and carpets are famous across India. Artisans and small exporters need clear product pages, honest descriptions, enquiry or checkout, and shipping rules that handle fragile goods.
Horticulture and dry fruits
Apples, saffron, walnuts and almonds are well-known products. Growers and traders can sell direct with a store that handles weight-based pricing, grading labels and repeat orders, rather than relying on middlemen alone.
Tourism and hospitality
Srinagar, Gulmarg, Pahalgam and Vaishno Devi route in Jammu draw large visitor numbers. Hotels, houseboats and guides need mobile-first sites with WhatsApp enquiry and clear policies for the seasons.
Education, services and government-linked work
Jammu and Srinagar have colleges, universities and coaching centres. Admissions, fee tracking, appointment and record tools, and simple portals for local firms are practical uses.
Towns and districts we serve
Srinagar, Jammu, Anantnag, Baramulla, Sopore, Kathua, Udhampur, Pulwama, Budgam, Rajouri, Poonch, Kupwara, Ganderbal.
Languages
Urdu, Kashmiri, Dogri and Hindi are all widely used, and English is common in business. We handle Hindi and English in-house. Urdu, Kashmiri and Dogri are built with proper fonts and right-to-left or script handling where needed, with a native speaker reviewing the text, since we have no in-house staff for those languages.
What it costs

Jammu and Kashmir questions
How do you work around internet interruptions?
We design apps and admin tools to save work locally and sync when the connection returns, keep pages light, and avoid features that need constant live data. We cannot prevent outages, but they should not lose your data.
Can the site be in Urdu or Kashmiri?
Yes. We handle right-to-left layout and fonts for Urdu and Kashmiri script, and ask a native speaker to review the text. We do not have writers for these languages on the team, so allow a review step before launch.
Can artisans sell to buyers outside the state?
Yes. A store or catalogue with clear photos, size and care information, and Razorpay or UPI checkout works for domestic buyers. Shipping fragile items needs careful packaging rules, which we set up in the order flow. Packaging rules are listed per product.
Do you travel to Srinagar or Jammu?
Work is remote by default. For a larger project we can discuss travel for a kickoff workshop or launch review, with costs written into the quote. Most projects do not need it. We confirm the details in the written quote before work starts.
