Website, app and software development in Meghalaya
Websites, mobile apps and custom software for Meghalaya businesses, built remotely from Pune and Nashik. Clear scope, fixed quote, one month of support after launch.
Anyone planning website, app and software development in Meghalaya should start with the visitor: someone on a hill road with one bar of signal. NioDelta, a Pune and Nashik studio, builds for that person first. We work with Meghalaya teams entirely remotely, using calls, prototypes and written scope documents. We never assume good signal.
The state's mix of tourism, education, horticulture and small enterprise means very different needs behind one search term. We spend the discovery call finding the one problem worth solving first, whether that is bookings for a homestay or a reliable parent app for a school, and quote only for that.
Meghalaya's economy and what it means for software
Tourism and homestays
Shillong, Cherrapunji, Dawki and Mawlynnong draw domestic and foreign visitors. Operators need a fast site with clear pricing, enquiry through WhatsApp, and seasonal availability that does not need a developer to update.
Education
Shillong is a well-known education hub in the Northeast, with schools and colleges drawing students from neighbouring states. Admissions, fee records and communication with parents are the usual starting points.
Horticulture and local produce
The state produces turmeric, ginger, pineapple, oranges and other horticulture products. Producer groups and sellers benefit from a simple ordering site, batch-level product pages and shipping set up for courier delivery.
Services and small enterprise
Cafes, guest houses, clinics and craft sellers in Shillong often operate on Instagram and phone calls alone. A booking form, menu or catalogue page plus UPI payments is often enough for a first release.
Towns and districts we serve
Shillong, Tura, Jowai, Nongpoh, Williamnagar, Baghmara, Resubelpara, Mairang, Nongstoin, Cherrapunji, Dawki, Mawlynnong.
Languages
English and Hindi are handled in-house. For Khasi, Garo or Pnar content we build with correct typography and ask a native speaker to review, but we do not claim in-house Khasi or Garo staff, so final wording is approved by someone you trust.
What it costs
Starting points, excluding 18% GST: landing page ₹17,500, business website ₹45,000, ecommerce store ₹75,000, web app or custom software ₹1,50,000, mobile app ₹2,00,000, AI chatbot ₹1,00,000. These include our launch discount.

Meghalaya questions
Is a Pune studio able to work with a Shillong business?
Yes. Everything from discovery to demos runs remotely, and we share written summaries after every call. For tourism and education projects we can also arrange a short visit if you want a kickoff workshop in person.
Can you build a homestay booking site for Meghalaya?
Yes. A typical build shows rooms or packages, an enquiry or booking form, WhatsApp contact and Google-friendly structured data. Payment can be UPI or bank transfer; card gateways are optional and add a monthly cost via the provider.
Do you handle Khasi or Garo language pages?
We can lay out Khasi (Latin script) and Garo content cleanly. We do not have in-house staff in either language, so we use a native-speaker review step, usually someone you nominate, before launch. We confirm the details in the written quote before work starts. Payment for the project itself works by bank transfer or UPI.
What if mobile data is poor where my customers are?
We design for it: small images, minimal scripts, offline-friendly app screens and forms that keep their data. These are choices we make by default for Northeast projects, not an add-on. Ask us on the discovery call and we will explain the options. Each of these is tested on a throttled connection before handover.
Ready to scope it?
Tell us what you want to build. You get a fixed written quote after a free discovery call.
