Food Delivery App Development Company

We build food ordering and delivery platforms for restaurant groups, cloud kitchens and local delivery brands: the customer app, the restaurant app, the rider app and the admin panel that ties them together. We built the website for Foodysh, a Nashik food delivery brand.
Three kinds of food delivery build
A single restaurant or a chain wants direct orders from regular customers, without paying aggregator commission on every bill. That needs one branded ordering app or website with menu, offers, payments and order status. A cloud kitchen needs the same, plus several brands and menus running from one kitchen screen.
A city delivery brand is a different product. It is a marketplace with four moving parts: customers, restaurants, riders and operations. Order assignment, live tracking, restaurant payouts and rider earnings all have to reconcile at the end of each day. We scope these as separate apps on one backend and launch them in stages, usually customer and restaurant first.
The four parts of a delivery platform
Customer app & website
Browse by dish or restaurant, cart, offers, UPI and card payments, live order tracking, reorder and ratings.
Restaurant app
Accept or reject orders, preparation timers, menu and stock toggles, daily sales and payout statements.
Rider app
Order offers, navigation, pickup and delivery confirmation, cash collection and earnings.
Admin & operations panel
Restaurant onboarding, zones and delivery fees, order monitoring, refunds, coupons and settlement reports.
Single-restaurant ordering
A branded ordering app or site for one restaurant or chain, with table, takeaway and delivery modes.
Integrations
Payment gateways, maps, SMS and WhatsApp order updates, POS and thermal printer connections.
What decides whether a delivery app works
Order assignment
Rules for which rider gets which order, with timeouts and reassignment when nobody accepts.
Live tracking
Rider location that stays accurate without draining the battery, and an honest delivery estimate.
Settlements
Commission, taxes, discounts, cash on delivery and refunds reconciled per restaurant and per rider.
Peak load
Dinner hours and rain bring several times the normal traffic. The backend is sized and tested for it.
Local fit
Areas, landmarks and dishes named the way your city names them, in the languages your customers use.
Food delivery app development cost
Cost depends on how many of the four parts you need at launch. A single-restaurant ordering app sits at the lower end. A full marketplace with customer, restaurant and rider apps is a multi-app platform. Prices exclude GST and every quote is fixed.
Restaurant ordering app
10–12 weeks · one brand, menu, payments, order status, admin panel
Multi-outlet or cloud kitchen
12–16 weeks · several outlets or brands, kitchen screen, delivery staff app

Food delivery app questions
