Fintech Mobile App Development for Android and iOS
Mobile apps for lenders, savings and payments products, built with secure sign-in, clear onboarding and careful handling of money screens.
This page covers fintech mobile app development: customer apps for lending, repayments, savings groups, bill payments, expense tracking and similar finance products. We build with Flutter or React Native so Android and iPhone share one codebase. Android users in India are the largest group, so we test there first. We handle store submission.
A finance app is installed on trust. People will uninstall after one confusing payment screen or one OTP that does not arrive. Most Indian users are on Android, often mid-range, so speed on a low-memory phone matters as much as design. Confirm regulatory requirements with your own adviser; this page is not legal advice. We design for the weakest phone in your user base first.
What finance apps need on a phone
Safe sign-in
Mobile number with OTP, a PIN or biometric lock and automatic logout. Session handling decides how safe the app really is.
Onboarding that finishes
KYC steps often lose users. Short screens, camera capture with guidance and saved progress let people return after a failure. We keep resume points so a user can leave and return without starting again.
Clear money screens
Amount, fee, recipient and status must be unambiguous. Pending, failed and successful states each need plain wording and a next step.
Play Store and App Store readiness
Finance apps face stricter review, with policy declarations and data safety forms. Preparing these early avoids rejections near launch.
What we build in fintech apps
Onboarding and KYC flow
Phone verification, document capture, selfie step if your verification partner supports it, and a status tracker that matches your back-office queue. Staff see each user's stage in the admin console.
Payments and repayment screens
UPI intent and gateway checkout, repayment reminders, receipts and failed-payment handling. Our job is the app and integrations; your partners handle the regulated money movement.
Statements and notifications
In-app statement view with PDF download, and push alerts for due dates and credits. Users can control categories.
Device security
Jailbreak and root checks where required, secure storage for tokens, certificate pinning if your risk team asks for it, and screen capture blocking on sensitive pages.
What it costs
Mobile apps start at ₹2,00,000 excluding GST, and an MVP usually takes 10 to 12 weeks. Partner integrations, KYC depth, security checks and store review needs shape the quote. Store accounts and partner fees are paid by you and are separate from the build quote.
Questions we get asked
How long does a fintech app take to launch?
A first MVP typically takes 10 to 12 weeks from the discovery call. Partner API approvals often take longer than our build, so get those started early. Store review for finance apps can add several days, and we plan for it.
Do you build UPI payment inside the app?
We integrate UPI through a licensed payment gateway or your bank partner's SDK, using intent flows where available. We do not hold or move customer money. Your payment partner and your adviser cover the regulated parts.
Will the app run on cheap Android phones?
Yes, we test on low-memory devices and keep screens light. Camera-based KYC needs a decent camera, so we add clear guidance and fallbacks. Features that fail on very old phones are listed before launch, not discovered after. A device list is shared with you for sign-off.
Can one app serve both customers and agents?
It can, with role-based screens, but it is often cleaner to ship two apps or one app with a separate agent login. We weigh the support burden and store listing rules with you during the Define stage.
