Fintech and finance software development in India

Client portals, onboarding with KYC, ledgers and reporting dashboards for brokers, lenders, advisers and fintech start-ups.

Financial products live on trust and on records. A customer wants to know that the balance is right, the document was received and the person asking for money is who they say they are. Fintech software development in India is mostly careful work on onboarding, ledgers, permissions and audit trails, with a clean front end on top.

NioDelta is a Pune software studio. We built the website and client portal for ForexPips, and we build web apps, mobile apps and internal tools for finance teams. We build the software. Licences, regulator approvals and legal opinions stay with you and your advisers. We say early when a requirement needs a licensed partner.

What finance businesses need to get right

01

Onboarding takes too long

Document collection, PAN and Aadhaar checks and video verification are often chased over email. Every extra day in onboarding is a day the customer may leave.

02

Reports and statements by hand

Staff export numbers into Excel to answer client questions. Mistakes creep in, and the same client gets different answers from different people.

03

Security is not optional

Customers share bank and identity details with you. Weak passwords, shared logins and missing audit logs create risks that no marketing can repair.

04

Regulation keeps moving

RBI, SEBI and IRDAI rules differ by activity and change. Software has to store consent, retain records for the required period and make exports easy during an inspection.

What we build for finance and fintech teams

01

Client portal

Secure login, two-factor authentication, statements, documents, transaction history and support requests. We built this kind of portal for ForexPips.

02

KYC and onboarding flow

Step-by-step forms, document upload and integration with a licensed KYC provider you choose. Status is visible to staff and to the customer at every step.

03

Ledger and accounting engines

Double-entry records, interest and fee calculations, reconciliation and exports for your accountant. Calculations are tested against sample cases you supply.

04

Admin and risk dashboards

Role-based dashboards for operations, support and management, with filters, exports and an audit log of who changed what.

05

Payments and collections

UPI, e-mandate and payment gateway integration, payment links, auto-reconciliation and failed-payment follow-ups.

06

Lender and adviser tools

Loan application tracking, EMI schedules, document checklists, meeting notes and renewal reminders for NBFC partners, DSAs and independent advisers.

When this is the wrong choice. If you have not yet decided on your licence or product, do not build software yet. Speak to your legal and compliance advisers first. If a ready platform from a licensed provider already offers your product, white-labelling may be quicker than custom code.

How a fintech build runs

01

Discover

We map the customer journey and the back-office steps, and list every regulation or partner API you already know applies. Open questions go to your compliance adviser.

02

Define

We settle roles, permissions, data fields, third-party providers and audit requirements. The written scope states what is built and what is bought.

03

Design

Forms and dashboards are designed to reduce errors, with clear states for pending, failed and verified. Sensitive screens get extra confirmation steps.

04

Build

We build with encrypted storage, server-side validation, access logs and rate limiting. Calculations get automated tests, and partner APIs are tested in sandbox first.

05

Ship & extend

We launch in a controlled rollout, support for one month, and plan upgrades after real usage. Security review and penetration testing are scheduled with a specialist if you need them.

Questions we get asked

Are you a licensed financial services company?

No. NioDelta builds software and websites. Any licence needed for lending, broking, advice or payments belongs to your business or your partner. We build the product to fit that structure and do not give legal or regulatory advice.

How do you handle KYC?

We integrate with a licensed KYC or e-sign provider that you select, and build the forms, status tracking and storage around it. We do not run the verification ourselves. Provider fees are billed separately by them.

Where is the data stored?

We can host on an Indian cloud region and set up encrypted storage and backups. Where your regulator requires data to stay in India, tell us at the start so the architecture reflects it. Your compliance officer should review the data residency choice before we begin.

Can you build a trading or investment app?

Such apps depend on a licensed broker or exchange APIs and strict rules. We can build the front end and back office around those APIs. Scope and risk are assessed in a discovery call before any quote.

Do you offer penetration testing?

We follow secure coding practice and run our own checks. A formal penetration test should be done by an independent security firm, and we will work with them and fix the findings if you need that for audit.

How long does a client portal take?

Most portals take longer than a business website, because of roles, integrations and testing. We give a firm timeline in the written quote after discovery, based on the modules you pick. Calculation rules and integrations drive most of the schedule, so we avoid guessing before discovery.
