Payment Gateway Integration for Indian Websites and Apps

Accept UPI, cards, net banking and subscriptions with the gateway that suits your business, and know that every rupee collected matches your records.

Adding a Pay button takes an afternoon. Running payments takes more: a customer pays on UPI, the app closes before the redirect, and your order stays unpaid while the money has left their account. Getting the unhappy paths right is what separates a working integration from a working demo. We write both for you.

NioDelta integrates Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU, PhonePe and Stripe into websites, stores and mobile apps. We build around webhooks as the source of truth, store every event, and set up a reconciliation view so your accountant can match settlements to orders without detective work. You get live payments you can trust and a clean trail for your books.

Payment problems that show up after launch

01

Paid but order not confirmed

The browser closes or the network drops after the customer pays. If your system trusts only the redirect, the order never updates. Webhooks must confirm the payment independently.

02

Duplicate and double charges

Customers tap twice on a slow connection. Without idempotency keys and order locks, you create two orders or two charges, and support spends days on refunds.

03

Settlements that do not match orders

Gateway fees, GST on fees, refunds and chargebacks make the bank credit differ from sales. Without a reconciliation report, month-end closing is a manual exercise.

04

Wrong gateway for the business model

A gateway good at one-time checkout may be weak at subscriptions, international cards or marketplace splits. Choosing on headline fee alone often costs more in failed payments.

Payment gateway integration services we offer

01

Gateway selection advice

We compare Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU and Stripe against your needs: UPI success rates for your audience, subscriptions, international cards, payouts and onboarding documents. We do not take referral fees.

02

Checkout for web and mobile

Hosted or embedded checkout on your site, and native SDK flows in Flutter and React Native apps, with UPI intent on Android so customers open their own UPI app.

03

UPI Autopay and recurring billing

E-mandates for subscriptions, memberships and fee collections, with pre-debit notification, retry rules and cancellation handled in line with RBI requirements.

04

Webhooks and idempotency

Signed webhook endpoints, duplicate protection and a stored event log. Order status follows verified events, not the customer's browser.

05

Refunds, partial refunds and COD

Refund flows from your admin panel with status tracking, plus cash-on-delivery handling and prepaid incentives where they make sense.

06

Reconciliation and reports

A daily view that matches orders, gateway payments, fees and settlements, with exceptions flagged. Export to Excel or push to Tally for your accountant.

When this is the wrong choice. If you sell only a handful of items, a hosted payment link or a Shopify checkout may be all you need, and custom integration would be waste. If your gateway account is not approved yet, wait for KYC to finish. Integration cannot get round a gateway's business-category rules.

How we integrate payments safely

01

Discover

We list your payment types, such as one-time, subscription, wallet top-up and refunds, and your current reconciliation routine. We also check which gateway account you have.

02

Define

We map each order state to a payment state, define failure and retry behaviour, and agree what shows in the admin panel.

03

Design

We design the checkout screens and failure messages, so a failed UPI attempt gives a clear next step rather than a dead end.

04

Build

We build against the gateway sandbox, test the failure cases deliberately, then run small live transactions with real money before opening to everyone.

05

Ship & extend

We watch the first settlements against your bank statement and fix mismatches. One month of support follows, and extras like split payments or payouts can be added.

What it costs

Quoted after a discovery call

A single gateway on a standard checkout is a small scope. Subscriptions, marketplace splits and reconciliation add work. Gateway transaction fees are charged by the provider and are separate from our fee.

  • Number of gateways and payment methods
  • One-time versus recurring payments
  • Split payments or vendor payouts
  • Refund and reconciliation tooling
  • Existing codebase quality

All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.

Questions we get asked

Which payment gateway suits my business?

It depends on your model. Razorpay is common for general checkout and subscriptions, Cashfree for payouts and quick settlement, PayU for some high-volume merchants, and Stripe for international customers. We compare them against your volume, audience and category before you sign.

How do you handle failed UPI payments?

We treat the webhook as final, show clear retry options, and keep the order pending for a set window. Customers who paid but saw an error get an automatic confirmation when the event arrives, so they do not pay twice.

Can you set up recurring payments with UPI Autopay?

Yes, through gateways that support e-mandates. The customer approves once, you debit on schedule within limits, and pre-debit notices are sent as required. Not every bank and UPI app supports it equally, so we plan a card fallback.

Do you store card details?

No. Card data goes straight to the gateway's secure fields or hosted page, so it never touches our servers or yours. This keeps your PCI-DSS burden low. We store only tokens, order references and payment status.

Can you integrate more than one gateway?

Yes. A second gateway acts as backup or handles a method the first does not, such as international cards. We build a payment layer once, so adding or switching providers later does not mean rewriting checkout.

Will payments be tested with real money?

Yes. After sandbox testing, we run small live payments, refunds included, and check them against settlement reports. We cover this before opening checkout to customers, and the tests are logged for your records. The log of those test payments is shared with you for your records.
