Agri-Business Website and App Development for Growers and Exporters

Export catalogues, farmer apps in local languages and produce-tracking tools for exporters, FPOs, packhouses and input suppliers. Built for low-end phones and patchy networks.

Agri-business website and app development has to start from where the user stands. A grape grower in the field has a budget Android phone, uneven signal and a preference for Marathi. An importer abroad checks your site for certificates, packing details and consistent quality. These are very different readers, and one brochure site cannot serve both.

NioDelta works from Pune, Nashik and Mumbai, and Nashik's grape, onion and pomegranate belt is close to our work. We build for exporters, FPOs, cold storage operators and input suppliers, keeping the farmer-facing tools simple and the buyer-facing pages credible. Expect questions about your crop, season and field staff in the first call.

What agri businesses struggle with online

01

Importers cannot verify you

Overseas buyers look for registrations, certifications, packing specifications and traceability. A site with only photos of produce does not answer those questions.

02

Farmers need local language

Many growers are more comfortable in Marathi or Hindi than English, and some prefer voice or images over text. English-only apps get installed and ignored.

03

Price information is scattered

Mandi rates, weather and advisories come from many places, often by WhatsApp. Farmers act on stale or wrong numbers.

04

Records are on paper

Procurement from farmers, grading, weights and payments sit in notebooks. Reconciling these with the grower at season end causes disputes.

Agri-business website and app development we build

01

Export catalogue website

Product pages with variety, grade, size, packing, season calendar and port of dispatch. A certificates section shows the registrations you hold, such as exporter and food-safety documents, with copies buyers can download.

02

Farmer app in Marathi and Hindi

Clear icons, large buttons and short text. Features include advisory messages, input orders, payment status and contact with your field officer.

03

Mandi and price board

Display price data from public mandi sources where available, with the source and date shown. Public data can be incomplete, so we show gaps rather than guess.

04

Procurement and grower ledger

Record each lot by grower, weight, grade, rate and payment. Growers see their own statement on their phone, and disputes reduce.

05

Traceability by lot

QR codes tie a packed lot back to farm, harvest date and grading, which export programmes often require. We design to the format your buyer or scheme demands.

06

FPO management tools

Member register, input sales, collective sales and share records for farmer producer organisations. Reports are formatted for the schemes and banks that ask for them.

When this is the wrong choice. If you sell directly to a few local traders and rely on phone calls, a simple catalogue page with WhatsApp contact is enough. A farmer app only works if you have field staff to onboard growers. Do not build price prediction or weather forecasting yourself, since reliable sources already exist and can be linked.

How an agri project runs

01

Discover

We visit or video-call a packhouse, FPO office or field team to see how lots are recorded. We note languages, devices and signal reality.

02

Define

Scope fixes the ledger fields, user roles, languages and offline needs, with a fixed quote. Data sources for prices are agreed here.

03

Design

Icon-led screens tested with actual growers, not only office staff. Text stays short.

04

Build

Offline entry and sync first, since field data comes in without signal. Reports follow.

05

Ship & extend

Launch with grower and staff onboarding, then a month of support. Season-time adjustments are planned in.

  • Reports for schemes or banks

All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.

Questions we get asked

Can the app work without internet?

Yes. Field staff can record lots, weights and grower details with no signal, and the app uploads the data when the phone is back online. We test this on low-end Android phones with limited storage before launch.

Do you support Marathi and Hindi?

Yes. We localise labels, messages and notifications in Marathi, Hindi and English, and test the text with native speakers. Voice prompts and icon-based navigation can be added for users who find reading hard. Local-language wording is reviewed with your field team before release, since agricultural terms vary by district.

Where does mandi price data come from?

We use public sources such as government mandi price portals where they provide usable data, and show the source and date. If data is missing or late, the app says so. We do not invent prices.

Can you build traceability for export?

We can build lot-level records and QR codes linking a pack to farm and harvest details. Your buyer or export scheme sets the required format and registrations, and we design to that specification, which you share early.

Is it only for Nashik?

No. We work with agri businesses across India remotely and travel for kickoff workshops or field visits when useful. Nashik is closest to us, so field testing there is easy, but the tools suit any crop region.

Can we sell inputs or produce online?

Yes. An ecommerce setup with UPI and cash on delivery works for inputs, packaged produce and farm-direct boxes. Perishables need delivery-area and slot rules, which we build around your logistics. Cash on delivery, UPI and prepaid options can all be offered, depending on your delivery partners.
