Automotive Website and App Development for Dealers and Workshops
Dealer sites, service booking and spare-parts catalogues built around how showrooms and workshops actually run. For dealers, multi-brand workshops, parts distributors and used-vehicle sellers.
Automotive website and app development in India is mostly about two jobs: getting a buyer from a search or a WhatsApp forward to a showroom visit, and getting an existing owner back for service. A site that lists models but cannot take a test-drive request or a service slot loses both.
NioDelta is a Pune studio, founded in 2017, that builds websites, web apps and mobile apps for dealers, workshops and parts businesses across India. We work out your lead handling, job-card flow and parts data first, then build screens around them instead of the other way round. Expect plain questions about your lead handling and parts data in the first call.
Where automotive businesses lose customers online
Leads sit in an inbox
Test-drive and finance enquiries arrive by form, call and WhatsApp, and nobody owns the follow-up. Without a lead register with an owner and a status, the hot enquiry from Saturday is cold by Tuesday.
Service bookings by phone only
Workshops take slots over calls and a paper diary, so double bookings and no-shows are routine. Customers also do not know what a periodic service costs until they reach the counter.
Parts catalogue is a PDF
Counter staff search part numbers in spreadsheets, and buyers cannot check fitment by model and year. Wrong-part returns eat margin and goodwill.
OEM rules and multiple branches
Franchised dealers must follow brand guidelines for logos, offers and disclaimers, while a group with three showrooms needs one inventory view. Generic templates handle neither well.
What we build for automotive website and app development
Dealer website with live stock
Model pages, variant comparison, on-road price request, EMI calculator and test-drive booking. Used-vehicle listings carry photos, ownership count, kilometres and an inspection note you control.
Service booking and reminders
Customers pick branch, vehicle and slot, and the job card opens on your side. WhatsApp reminders go out for due service, insurance renewal and pollution check dates you store.
Spare-parts catalogue
Search by part number, model and year, with fitment notes, HSN codes and GST-ready pricing. Distributors get a login for trade rates and repeat orders.
Lead register for sales teams
Every form, call-back and WhatsApp enquiry lands in one list with an owner, source and next action. Managers see which showroom or executive is sitting on stale leads.
Customer app for owners
Service history, upcoming dues, document wallet for RC and insurance copies, and roadside-help contacts. One Flutter or React Native codebase serves Android and iPhone.
Integrations with your DMS
Where your dealer management system exposes an API, we sync inventory, customers and job cards. If it does not, we say so early and design a manual import instead.
How an automotive project runs
Discover
We sit with sales, service and parts staff to map how an enquiry becomes a sale and how a job card closes. We also collect your DMS, tally or invoicing tools.
Define
You get a written scope covering lead fields, slot rules, parts data and branches, plus a fixed quote. Anything dependent on OEM or DMS access is marked as an assumption.
Design
Mobile-first layouts, since most showroom enquiries start on a phone. Brand-guideline checks happen here, before code.
Build
Booking logic, catalogue import from your spreadsheets and the lead register come first. Testing includes slow 4G and low-end Android phones.
Ship & extend
Launch with staff walkthroughs and a month of post-launch support. Typical next steps are DMS sync, a customer app or a used-vehicle module.
What it costs
A business website with test-drive booking and a lead register starts at ₹45,000, and a service-booking mobile app starts at ₹2,00,000. Catalogue size, branches and DMS integration decide the final quote after a discovery call.
- Number of branches and brands
- Parts catalogue size and data cleanliness
- DMS or OEM integration
- Customer app or website only
- WhatsApp reminder volume
All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.
Questions we get asked
Can you connect the website to our dealer management system?
Sometimes. It depends on whether your DMS vendor offers an API or export we can use. We ask for the vendor name in the discovery call and tell you plainly if integration is not possible, then plan a scheduled file import or manual upload instead.
Do you build to OEM brand guidelines?
Yes, if you share the guideline document and approved assets. We check logos, disclaimers, offer wording and colour use in the design stage. Final approval from your OEM or regional office is your responsibility, and we allow time in the schedule for it.
Can customers book a service slot online?
Yes. You set branch hours, bay capacity and slot length, and the booking blocks full slots automatically. The customer gets a confirmation and a reminder on WhatsApp, and your service advisor sees the booking as a draft job card.
How do you handle a large spare-parts catalogue?
We import your existing spreadsheet, clean part numbers, and map fitment to model and year. Search is built around part number first, since counter staff and mechanics use it. Poor source data adds time, so we review a sample before quoting.
Is a mobile app needed, or is the website enough?
A mobile-friendly website is enough to start. An app makes sense when owners return often for service history, reminders and documents. We usually build the website and booking first, then add the app once you see how many customers come back.
Who owns the code and customer data?
You do. The code, database and hosting accounts are in your name, and we hand over access at launch. Customer data stays in your system, and we build consent capture for calls and WhatsApp in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.
