Fintech Web App Development: Portals, Ledgers and Dashboards
Secure browser-based software for onboarding clients, tracking balances and giving your team a single view of every account.
This page covers fintech web app development: client portals, onboarding flows, internal dashboards and back-office tools for finance businesses. Users log in, see their own data and take actions, while your staff review and approve behind the scenes. We scope it with your operations and finance leads, and ask to see your current Excel sheets first.
Money software is judged on small details. A ledger that is off by a rupee, a status that lags after a payment, or an admin who can edit without a trace will cost you more than any missing feature. We design around correctness first and screens second. Confirm regulatory requirements with your own adviser; this page is not legal advice.
What finance teams need from a web app
Correct, traceable ledgers
Every entry needs a source, a time and a user. Corrections are made by reversing entries, not by editing history. Reports can then be rebuilt from the ledger at any date.
Onboarding with document checks
Users upload identity and address documents, ops staff review them and the status is visible to both sides. Verification partners are plugged in where you have an agreement.
Role-based admin
Support staff, finance, compliance and management each get different rights. High-risk actions like payouts need a second approver.
Reports your auditors can read
Statements, transaction exports and activity logs in formats your accountant and auditor already use.
What we build for fintech web apps
Client portal
Sign-in with OTP or two-factor, balances, statements, deposit and withdrawal requests and support tickets. The ForexPips client portal is the closest example we have built.
Admin and operations console
Queues for KYC review, payment matching and exceptions, with filters, notes and action history on every record. Every action on a record is timestamped with the user who took it.
Payments and reconciliation
UPI and bank payment collection through a licensed gateway, with automatic matching against settlements and a list of unmatched items.
Notifications and audit trail
SMS, email and WhatsApp alerts for key events, and an immutable log of who changed what.
What it costs
Web apps start at ₹1,50,000 excluding GST. Roles, integrations, approval flows and security review needs set the final fixed quote, which we write after a discovery call.
Questions we get asked
Can you build KYC into the web app?
We build the upload, review and status workflow, and connect to a KYC or verification provider you have a contract with. Which checks are legally required depends on your licence, so confirm that with your adviser before we scope it.
How do you secure a finance web app?
We use encrypted connections, hashed credentials, two-factor options, role-based access, rate limits and audit logs. We run a code security review before launch. A formal third-party audit, if your partners require one, is separate and quoted separately.
Do you handle payment gateway integration?
Yes. We integrate licensed gateways such as Razorpay and handle webhooks, retries and reconciliation. We never store card data ourselves. Gateway onboarding, which needs your business documents, is handled by you with our technical help.
Can we start with the admin side only?
Often a good idea. A back-office console for your staff removes the Excel risk first, and the client portal can follow once the data is clean. It also lets you test rules internally before customers see them. Sensitive actions then reach customers only after testing.
