Agri-Business Website Development for Growers, Exporters and Input Brands

A website that shows buyers what you grow or sell, in which grades and packs, and how to reach you. Built for exporters, processors, FPOs and input dealers.

This page covers website development for agriculture businesses: exporters, packhouses, processors, FPOs, seed and input brands, and agri-tech startups. We build the public face that importers, distributors and farmers check before they call you.

Most agri sites fail in one of two ways. They are a brochure with no specifications, so an importer cannot tell if your product fits. Or they are built for desktop, while the farmer or dealer opens the link on a mid-range Android phone over patchy mobile data. We design for both readers and keep pages light.

What agri-business websites need to do

01

Specifications over adjectives

An importer wants grade, size range, pack type, shelf life, certifications you actually hold and port of dispatch. A page that lists these plainly gets fewer wasted enquiries and more serious ones.

02

Enquiry that reaches a person fast

Dealers and buyers rarely fill long forms. A short enquiry form, a WhatsApp button and a callback request, all routed to the right salesperson, match how agri trade really talks.

03

Seasonal content that is easy to change

Availability, harvest windows and rates change through the year. Your team should update a stock or season note in minutes without calling a developer.

04

Light pages for rural networks

Many visitors are in villages on 4G with weak signal. Compressed images, no heavy sliders and fast first paint decide whether the page opens at all.

What we build for agri websites

01

Export and product catalogue

Product pages with spec tables, pack photos, minimum order quantity and an enquiry basket that sends a single consolidated request. You can add a PDF spec sheet per product.

02

Dealer and distributor locator

A searchable list by district and state, so a farmer finds the nearest authorised dealer. Each dealer gets a call and WhatsApp link.

03

Marathi, Hindi and English pages

Language switch with proper typography for Devanagari, so a Nashik grower reads the page in Marathi while an importer reads English.

04

Crop advisory and knowledge pages

Seasonal guides for your own products, organised by crop and stage, written to bring in search traffic from farmers. SEO basics, schema and sitemap come with the build.

When this is the wrong choice. If you sell only through a mandi agent and never deal with outside buyers, a single landing page and a Google Business profile may be enough. A full site pays off when you want importers, institutional buyers or dealers to find you.

What it costs

Starts at ₹45,000 (excl. GST) for a business website

A catalogue with many products, multiple languages or a dealer locator sits above the base. We give a fixed written quote after a free discovery call.

Questions we get asked

Can the site show product specifications for exporters?

Yes. Each product page carries a spec table with grade, size, pack type, minimum order and dispatch details, plus a downloadable PDF. We list only certifications you hold, and you supply the documents. Buyers then compare you on facts instead of photos alone.

Can farmers open it on a basic Android phone?

Yes. We compress images, avoid heavy scripts and test on low-end Android devices over throttled 4G. Pages are written to load usefully even on weak rural signal, and key actions like call and WhatsApp work with one tap.

Will it work in Marathi as well as English?

Yes. We build Marathi and Hindi versions with proper Devanagari fonts, and a native speaker should review the final text. English stays the default for importers. Other regional scripts are possible and are quoted after discovery.

Do I need a website if I already sell through APMC or a mandi agent?

Not always. If your buyers are all local and already know you, a simple landing page may do. A fuller site makes sense when you want export enquiries, direct institutional buyers or authorised dealers outside your district.
