Crypto & Web3 Custom Software Development

Internal systems for crypto and Web3 businesses: ledgers, reconciliation, case management and reporting that off-the-shelf tools do not cover.

This page covers the software that sits behind a crypto business and that customers never see: the internal ledger, deposit and withdrawal reconciliation, a compliance case queue, partner API gateways, and reports for your accountant. It is different from a customer-facing app, though the two usually share data.

Teams often begin with spreadsheets and a few scripts. That works until a deposit goes missing or an auditor asks who approved a withdrawal. Custom software gives you one record of truth, approvals that leave a trail, and fewer late nights. We build these systems in plain, testable code and explain every rule in writing. Your own adviser decides what the rules must be.

What crypto and Web3 firms need from custom software

01

A ledger that always balances

Every movement of funds is a pair of entries, never an edited number. If the books do not add up, the system should say so at once and point to the transaction that broke them.

02

Reconciliation across many sources

Bank statements, payment gateway reports, partner exchange records and on-chain data rarely match line for line. Software should match what it can and put the rest in a queue for a person.

03

Approvals and audit logs

Large withdrawals, limit changes and account freezes need two people, with names and times stored. Logs must be append-only so no one can tidy them later.

04

Reports your accountant can use

Transaction exports with dates, INR values and fees help with books and tax filing. Your accountant tells you the format, and we build to it rather than guess.

What we build for crypto and Web3 back offices

01

Internal ledger service

Double-entry records in an exact-decimal database, with daily balance checks and alerts. Nothing is deleted, only reversed by a new entry.

02

Reconciliation tool

Imports bank and partner files, auto-matches by reference and amount, and shows unmatched items with the reason. Staff clear them with a note.

03

Compliance case queue

Flagged accounts and transactions go into a workflow with assignment, notes and decision history. Rules for flagging come from your compliance adviser, not from us.

04

Partner API gateway

One internal layer in front of exchanges, KYC and payment providers, so a partner change does not rewrite your apps. It retries safely and never submits the same order twice.

When this is the wrong choice. If a hosted accounting or case tool already does the job, buy it. Custom software pays off only when your workflow is unusual or volume is rising, and we will tell you if your need is smaller than a build.

What it costs

Starts at ₹1,50,000 (excl. GST) for custom software

Ledgers and reconciliation vary a lot in size, so cost depends on the number of data sources, rules and users. You receive a fixed written quote after a discovery call.

Questions we get asked

Can you build a trading engine or custody system?

We do not recommend building either from scratch. Both need specialist security, licences and long testing. We build the surrounding systems, such as ledger, reconciliation and partner gateways, and integrate with a proven engine or custodian. We will say plainly if a plan needs specialists beyond our studio.

Who owns the code?

You do. On final payment the source code and documentation are yours, and we hand over deployment notes. This matters in this sector, because a partner or auditor may ask to review the code, and you should be free to show it.

How do you test money logic?

We write automated tests for every ledger rule, including awkward cases like partial fills, reversed deposits and rounding. Before launch we replay a sample of your real transaction history through the system and compare totals with your records.

Can the system produce records for tax filing?

It can export transactions with dates, INR values and fees in the layout your accountant asks for. We do not give tax advice or decide how any gain is treated. Your chartered accountant defines the rules, and we build the reports to match.
