Insurance AI Solutions: Chatbots and Automation for Advisers
AI chatbots and automation that answer routine customer questions, read documents and remind customers about renewals, with a human handing over the hard cases.
This page covers insurance AI solutions for agencies, brokers and advisers: a WhatsApp assistant, document extraction, renewal automation and lead sorting. AI here handles routine messages and paperwork. It does not give advice on which policy to buy.
Insurance desks answer the same questions all day: when is my renewal, what documents do I need for a claim, how do I download my policy. A well-scoped assistant answers those from your own records and passes anything unclear to a person. The risk is a bot that sounds confident and is wrong, so we design around that.
What insurance firms need from AI
Answers only from approved material
A bot should answer from your FAQ, claim checklists and the customer's own record. It should never invent policy terms or promise claim outcomes.
A clean hand-off to a human
Complaints, claim disputes and anything emotional go to a person with the chat history attached. The bot says plainly that it is handing over.
Document reading with checks
Extracting names, policy numbers and dates from PDFs saves typing. Extracted fields need a quick human review before they update a record.
Privacy and consent
Customer messages contain personal data. Decide what is stored, who sees it and what the provider keeps, and confirm duties with your adviser.
What we build for insurance teams
WhatsApp service assistant
Answers renewal dates, document checklists and insurer helpline numbers from your data. Opens a ticket and alerts staff when it cannot answer.
Renewal reminder automation
Sequences that message customers before expiry and pause when a staff member marks the call done. Opt-out is respected.
Document extraction helper
Reads policy schedules and KYC images into draft fields. A staff member confirms before saving, and every edit is logged.
Lead sorting and routing
Scores website and WhatsApp enquiries by product and urgency, then assigns them to the right agent. Rules are simple and visible, not a black box.
What it costs
Message volume, number of document types, languages and system integrations affect the quote. WhatsApp message charges from the provider are paid separately by you.
Questions we get asked
Can an AI chatbot recommend insurance plans?
We do not build bots that advise on which policy to buy. That is a regulated activity and a judgement a licensed person should make. The bot can explain features from your approved content, collect details and hand the customer to an adviser.
Will the chatbot work in Hindi and Marathi?
Yes, WhatsApp assistants can reply in English, Hindi and Marathi, including Roman-script Hinglish. Accuracy in regional languages needs testing with real customer messages, so we review a sample with you before launch and keep a fallback to staff.
What happens if the bot gets a claim question wrong?
We limit it to approved answers and checklists, and route anything about claim status or disputes to staff. Wrong answers are reduced by restricting scope, logging every chat and reviewing failures weekly in the first month of support.
Does AI replace our renewal team?
No. It removes the routine reminders and repeat questions so staff spend time on customers who need a conversation. Teams usually keep the same people and cover more policies. If your volume is small, simple scheduled reminders may be enough.
