Insurance Website Development for Agents, Brokers and Advisers

A website for an insurance agency, broker or adviser that explains plans plainly, captures enquiries and shows the disclosures your regulator expects.

This page covers insurance website development for agencies, brokers, POSPs and small advisory firms in India. It does not cover insurer-grade policy admin systems. Those need custom software and are a different project.

Most insurance sites are brochures with a phone number. A buyer in Pune or Nashik compares three agents on WhatsApp in ten minutes. Your site has to answer the obvious questions, show who you are licensed through, and make the next step one tap. We build it so you can edit plan pages yourself and keep disclosures current.

What insurance websites need to do

01

Trust before the quote

People hand over family health details only to someone they trust. Show your name, licence or POSP details as applicable, the insurers you work with and a real office or phone contact.

02

Plan pages that explain, not oversell

A term plan page should say who it suits, what is excluded and what to check in the policy wording. Avoid return promises. Your compliance adviser should sign off the text.

03

Lead capture that survives a bad network

Many enquiries come from mid-range Android phones on patchy 4G. A short form with name, phone, city and plan type works better than a long one. WhatsApp click-to-chat should sit beside it.

04

Renewal and claim help pages

A lot of site visits are existing customers asking how to renew or claim. Clear pages with insurer helpline numbers and document checklists cut repeat calls to your desk.

What we build for insurance advisers

01

Product and category pages

Separate pages for life, health, motor and commercial cover, each with its own enquiry form tagged by product. You see which line brings leads without guessing.

02

Premium calculators and need guides

Simple tools such as a cover-needed estimator or a checklist for choosing sum insured. They are illustrations only and say so on screen. Live insurer quotes need insurer API access, which is scoped separately.

03

Disclosure and policy pages

Footer and about areas set up for licence details, grievance contact and the standard notices your adviser tells us to display. You supply the wording and numbers, we place them properly.

04

Content you can maintain

A simple editor for plan pages, blog posts and FAQs, so a new product launch does not need a developer. On-page SEO, schema and sitemap are part of the build.

When this is the wrong choice. If you only need a Google Business profile and a WhatsApp number to take calls, a full website is not yet worth it. If agents need logins, document upload and case tracking, you need a web app instead.

What it costs

Starts at ₹45,000 (excl. GST) for a business website

Calculators, multiple language versions and many product pages raise the quote. A fixed written quote follows a free discovery call.

Questions we get asked

Can an insurance agent website show live premiums?

Only with insurer or aggregator API access, which you must arrange and which carries its own terms. Without that, we build indicative calculators clearly marked as estimates, plus a quick quote request form that routes to you. Most small advisers start with the request form.

What disclosures should an insurance website carry?

That depends on whether you are an agent, broker, POSP or corporate agent, and on current regulator rules. Confirm the exact list with your compliance adviser. We provide the page structure and keep the text editable so you can update it when rules change.

Can the site handle Hindi and Marathi plan pages?

Yes. Our team works in English, Hindi and Marathi. Many families decide in their home language, so a Marathi health-cover explainer often converts better than an English one. Policy wording stays as issued by the insurer, we do not translate legal terms ourselves.

How long does an insurance website take?

A business website takes six to ten weeks, depending on how many product pages, tools and languages you want. The slowest part is usually your content and compliance review, so we ask for plan details early in the Define stage.
