Jewellery Website and App Development for Retailers and Brands

Catalogues, gold-rate display, appointment booking and online sales for jewellers and luxury retailers. Built for high-trust, high-value purchases.

Jewellery website and app development is a trust problem first. A customer spending several lakhs wants to see the piece properly, know the gold rate being applied, understand making charges and feel safe with the shop. A generic ecommerce template that shows a price and a cart button does not do that.

NioDelta is a Pune studio, active since 2017, that builds websites, apps and ecommerce stores for retailers. For jewellers we design around how the sale actually happens: browse online, visit or video-call, then buy. The site's job is to bring the right customer to that conversation. Expect questions about your billing software and rate source in the first call.

What jewellers struggle with online

01

Prices change daily

Gold and silver rates move through the day. Static price tags go wrong, and manual updates across catalogue pages are tedious and error-prone.

02

Photos do not convey quality

Compressed images hide detail, and customers cannot judge weight, size or finish. They leave to compare in person, or buy elsewhere.

03

Regulation adds friction

Hallmarking, billing details, GST on metal and making charges, and cash and KYC rules affect how a price and invoice are shown. Sloppy handling invites trouble.

04

Online sales feel risky

Buyers hesitate to pay large amounts online. Without clear return, buyback and insurance terms, they would rather walk into a store.

Jewellery website and app development we provide

01

Catalogue with detail and weight

High-resolution zoom, weight, purity, stone details and design codes. Browsing is quick on mobile and filters match how customers search: occasion, metal, budget and weight.

02

Gold-rate widget

Show daily rates from the source you choose, such as an association rate or a licensed feed, with a timestamp. Product prices can compute from the current rate, weight and making charges.

03

Price breakup display

Show metal value, making charges, stone value and GST as separate lines, which builds trust and matches how your invoice reads. Hallmark details, including the unique ID, appear where relevant.

04

Appointment and video-call booking

Customers book a store visit or live video viewing with a sales advisor. Preferred designs are saved to a wishlist the advisor sees beforehand.

05

Ecommerce for lighter pieces

Silver, lightweight gold and fashion jewellery can sell online with UPI, cards, insured shipping and clear returns. High-value pieces often work better as enquiry and appointment.

06

Customer app and loyalty

Purchase history, repair and service requests, wishlist and special-occasion reminders. Savings or advance schemes need legal review first, because rules apply.

When this is the wrong choice. If you run a single traditional store and your top customers come by reference, a catalogue site with WhatsApp enquiry and a gold-rate banner is enough. Full online checkout for heavy gold pieces is rarely worth the fraud and insurance burden. Gold-saving scheme apps should wait until your advisor confirms the legal position.

Questions we get asked

Can the site show live gold rates?

Yes. We display rates from a source you choose, with the time of the last update, and can compute product prices from rate, weight and making charges. Rate feeds from data providers may carry their own subscription fee.

Should heavy gold jewellery be sold online?

Often not directly. Many jewellers use the site to attract, show and book appointments, and complete high-value sales in store or by video call. Lighter items, silver and fashion pieces suit full online checkout much better.

How do you show hallmarking and purity?

Each product page can show purity, weight and, where applicable, hallmark information such as the unique ID. Your team supplies the data, and we make sure the display matches what appears on your invoice. Customers then see the same details online that they will see on the final bill.

Can it connect to our billing software?

Possibly. If your jewellery billing software offers an API or export, we can sync stock and prices. Otherwise we use scheduled uploads. We ask for the software name during discovery before we promise integration. Stock status can then show as available or sold on the website.

Do you build gold-saving scheme apps?

We can, but monthly saving or advance schemes face regulation in India. We want your legal advisor to confirm the structure before development starts, and we build only the structure they approve. Using unregulated schemes can create serious legal exposure for a jeweller.

How do you keep images fast but sharp?

We serve resized images for each device, with a zoom view that loads the high-resolution version only on demand. Pages stay quick on mobile data, and the detail customers want remains visible. Lazy loading keeps the first screen quick even for long catalogues.
