Real Estate Mobile App Development for Android and iOS
Mobile apps for sales teams in the field, channel partners on the move, and residents after possession. One Flutter or React Native codebase covers both phones.
This page covers real estate mobile app development: apps installed from the Play Store or App Store, either for your own team and brokers, or for buyers and residents. It is not about putting your brochure into an app. A brochure belongs on a website.
An app earns its place when people use it repeatedly. A salesperson at a site visit logs a client in thirty seconds. A broker gets a push notification when a unit is released. A resident raises a plumbing complaint without calling the office. If nobody will open it more than once, build a website instead.
What real estate businesses need from a mobile app
Speed on the site, not in the office
Field sales staff stand in a half-finished lobby with patchy network. The app has to save a visit note offline and sync later, instead of showing a spinner and losing the entry.
Notifications that mean something
A broker app lives or dies on timely alerts: new launch, price revision, unit back in stock. Too many pings get the app uninstalled, so notification types need to be selectable.
Support for low-end Android
Most users in India are on Android phones with limited memory. We test on older, cheaper devices and keep the app small, because a heavy app gets deleted to free space.
Simple sign-in without passwords
Phone number with an OTP matches how people already log in elsewhere. It also ties each account to a real mobile number, which helps with lead ownership and resident verification.
What we build for property apps
Sales team field app
Lead capture with a camera scan of a visitor card, visit scheduling, and follow-up reminders. It connects to your CRM or to a backend we build for it.
Channel partner app
Brokers browse live inventory, share a project card on WhatsApp with their own contact details, register clients and track deal status without logging into a laptop.
Resident and community app
After possession, residents pay maintenance, raise service requests, get notices from the society, and pre-approve visitors. Committee members get a simple admin view.
Buyer app for a large township
For multi-phase developments, a buyer app can show payment milestones, construction photo updates and document downloads. This is worth it only when buyers stay engaged for years.
What it costs
Price rises with the number of user types, offline sync, payment collection and the backend needed behind the app. Play Store and App Store developer fees are paid by you directly.
Questions we get asked
Do we need both an Android and an iOS app?
Usually yes in the buyer segment, since iPhone use is higher among premium buyers. Building with Flutter or React Native gives both from one codebase, so the second platform costs far less than a separate native build.
Can residents pay maintenance through the app?
Yes, through a payment gateway such as Razorpay, with UPI as the main method. You need a gateway account in your society's or company's name. Reconciliation reports for the treasurer are part of the scope.
Who publishes the app on the stores?
We prepare the listing, screenshots and builds, but the developer accounts belong to you. Play Store review often takes a few days, and iOS can take longer on the first submission, so we plan launch dates with buffer.
Will the app work in Hindi and Marathi?
Yes. We build text so it can switch language, and test that Devanagari renders properly on older phones. Translations are written with your team's review, since property terms vary between regions.
