Travel & Tourism Web App Development in India

Browser-based itinerary builders, booking engines and B2B agent portals for travel companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and email threads.

This page is about web applications for travel businesses: tools your staff and partners log into, and booking flows your customers complete online. Think itinerary builders, supplier rate sheets, agent portals and departure inventory. A brochure site is a different project, covered on our website page.

The pain we see is the same. Quotes are built in Excel, rates live in WhatsApp groups, and a hotel price change is missed by one agent. A web app puts rates, inventory and quotes in one place, with a record of who changed what and when.

What travel companies need from a web app

01

Quotes built from live rates

An executive picks hotels, transfers and sightseeing, and the system totals the cost with margin and GST. When a hotel updates its rate, new quotes use it and old ones stay frozen.

02

Inventory that cannot be oversold

Group departures, seats on a trek and rooms in a camp have hard limits. Two agents booking the last seat at the same moment must not both succeed, so the system must lock stock safely.

03

Agent and sub-agent access

B2B sellers need their own logins, their own markups and their own wallet or credit limit. Your staff need to see everything while an agent sees only their bookings.

04

Payments that reconcile

Advance, balance and refund each need a record tied to the booking. Razorpay or another gateway covers cards and UPI, but your accounts team still needs clean exports for matching bank entries.

What we build for travel web apps

01

Itinerary and quote builder

Day-wise plans assembled from a library of hotels, activities and transfers, with a branded PDF the customer can open on a phone. Margins and taxes are rules in the system, so executives cannot quote below your floor by mistake.

02

Booking engine for departures or stays

Customers pick a date, see availability, pay an advance and get a confirmation by email and WhatsApp. Cancellation rules apply automatically so your team is not calculating refunds by hand.

03

B2B agent portal

Registered agents search packages, hold seats, download vouchers and see their ledger. You approve new agents and set credit terms per agent.

04

Operations dashboard

One screen for tomorrow's pickups, driver assignments, pending balances and guests who have not sent ID documents. It replaces the morning round of calls.

When this is the wrong choice. If you handle a few dozen bookings a month, a shared spreadsheet and a good enquiry form will cost less and work fine. Do not build a booking engine to compete with large travel portals on flights and hotels; connect to an existing supplier API or sell what you uniquely operate.

What it costs

Starts at ₹1,50,000 (excl. GST)

This is the anchor for a web app with admin roles and one core workflow. Supplier API integrations, multi-currency and the number of user roles move the fixed quote, which we give in writing after a discovery call.

Questions we get asked

Can the app connect to hotel or flight supplier APIs?

Often yes, if the supplier offers an API and gives you access. Access terms and per-call costs come from the supplier, not us. We scope the integration after reading their documentation, because quality varies and some require certification before going live.

How do you handle double booking on the last seat?

We reserve stock inside a database transaction, so the system accepts one request and rejects the other. Holds expire after a set time if payment does not complete. We test this with simultaneous requests before launch, not after a complaint.

Can our guide use it on a hill station with poor signal?

A web app needs a connection, but we can make the manifest page light and cacheable, and print or PDF vouchers cover dead zones. If guides truly work offline for days, a mobile app with local storage fits better.

Who owns the code and our customer data?

You do. The source code, database and hosting accounts are handed over at launch, and your customer and agent data stays yours. We include one month of post-launch support, and a care plan is optional afterwards.
