Angular Development for Enterprise Dashboards and Portals

Structured, typed front ends for large internal tools and portals, plus planned upgrades from AngularJS. For organisations that value consistency over novelty.

Angular development suits products with many screens, many forms and several developers over several years. The framework is opinionated: routing, forms, dependency injection and testing come built in, so a new team member finds things where they expect them. It suits organisations with several developers, formal reviews and a product that will run for years.

That structure is the reason enterprises and long-running internal tools pick it. It is also why a small marketing site does not need it. We use Angular for dashboards, back-office systems and portals where strict conventions save money in year three, and we handle upgrades of older Angular and AngularJS code. Version upgrades and AngularJS rescues are a regular part of our work.

Why Angular codebases get into trouble

01

Stuck on AngularJS

AngularJS reached end of life years ago. Browsers, security tools and hiring all move away from it, yet the app still runs payroll or dispatch.

02

Skipped major versions

Angular releases regularly, and falling several versions behind turns each upgrade into a project. Third-party libraries stop working.

03

Complex forms with weak validation

Long forms with dependent fields, such as KYC or claims, lead to data errors when validation is patchy. Support teams then clean up by hand.

04

Slow loading of large apps

One big bundle and eager loading make the first screen heavy, especially over office Wi-Fi shared by many users.

What our Angular development covers

01

Enterprise dashboards

Data grids, filters, charts, saved views and exports, with role-based access to screens and actions. Built for daily heavy use.

02

Typed reactive forms

Multi-step forms with conditional fields, strong validation and clear error messages. Typed form models stop whole classes of bugs.

03

AngularJS to modern Angular

A hybrid, route-by-route migration that keeps the business running. We start with the screens used most and retire old code gradually.

04

Version upgrades

Moving an app through major Angular versions with dependency updates, deprecated API removal and a test pass at each step.

05

Modular architecture and lazy loading

Feature modules loaded on demand, shared libraries for common components and clear boundaries so teams do not step on each other.

06

Testing and accessibility

Unit tests on services and complex components, end-to-end tests on core flows, and keyboard-friendly, readable interfaces.

When this is the wrong choice. Choose something lighter if you are one developer building a small tool or a public content site. React or Vue gets you moving faster with less ceremony. Angular pays off when conventions and team scale matter.

How an Angular project runs

01

Discover

We review the screens, user roles and existing APIs. For upgrades we read the current code and list risky libraries.

02

Define

We agree module boundaries, API contracts and an upgrade or build order, with a fixed quote for phase one.

03

Design

We design shared components first, then screens. Forms and data grids get detailed attention since they carry most of the work.

04

Build

Strict TypeScript, lazy-loaded modules and tests on forms and services. Staging builds are shared every week.

05

Ship & extend

We deploy, monitor errors and support you for a month. Later modules plug into the same structure.

What it costs

Web apps start at ₹1,50,000 (excl. GST)

Migrations and upgrades are quoted after a discovery call because effort depends on code size and age. We read the code first, then give a fixed written price.

  • Number of screens and forms
  • Age and size of existing code
  • Data grid and reporting complexity
  • Backend API readiness
  • Test coverage required

All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.

Questions we get asked

Should I choose Angular or React?

Pick Angular for large teams, long-lived internal systems and heavy forms, where built-in structure helps. Pick React for flexibility, smaller teams or public-facing apps. Both are capable, so we decide by team skills, product life and hiring plans.

Can you migrate our AngularJS app?

Yes. We usually run AngularJS and modern Angular side by side and migrate route by route, starting with the most used screens. This avoids a risky big-bang rewrite and lets the business keep working while code is replaced.

How long does an Angular upgrade take?

It depends on how many versions behind you are and how many libraries need replacing. A small app may take a couple of weeks, a large one longer. We review the code first and give a fixed quote with a clear sequence.

Is Angular good for dashboards with large data?

Yes, with care. We use paging or virtual scrolling, push heavy work to the server, and keep change detection under control. Poorly designed grids are slow in any framework, so the design matters more than the tool.

Can Angular work with our existing backend?

Yes. Angular consumes any REST or GraphQL API. We read your API documentation, flag gaps, and build typed clients. If your backend is old and has no API layer, we can add one as a separate piece of work.

Do you provide ongoing Angular maintenance?

Yes. That covers security updates, version upgrades, bug fixes and small features, on a monthly arrangement agreed after reviewing the app. Keeping up with Angular releases each year costs less than catching up after five years.
