DevOps & Cloud Services for apps that need to stay up and stay affordable

Deployment pipelines, AWS or GCP setup, monitoring, backups and a cloud bill you understand, for teams without a full-time DevOps engineer.

Many Indian startups and mid-size firms run a production app on one server that a developer set up years ago. Deployments are done by hand over SSH, backups are assumed, and nobody knows what the hosting bill includes. It works until a deploy breaks the site on a sale day.

We set up the practical basics: a repeatable deployment pipeline, a sensible cloud layout, monitoring that alerts a human, tested backups and a bill with no surprises. We size the setup to your stage. A small app does not need Kubernetes, and we will say so. We write down every step, so any engineer you hire later can follow it.

Infrastructure problems we are called in to fix

01

Risky manual deployments

Code is copied to the server by hand, so releases happen late at night and rollbacks mean panic. One missed step takes the site down.

02

Backups nobody has tested

A nightly backup exists, but no one has tried a restore. The first real test should not be during an outage, with customers waiting.

03

A cloud bill that keeps growing

Oversized instances, forgotten snapshots, idle load balancers and data transfer charges add up. Without tags and alerts, nobody knows which service costs what.

04

No visibility until customers complain

There is no uptime check, error tracking or disk alert. The team learns about downtime from a customer WhatsApp message.

DevOps and cloud services we offer

01

CI/CD pipelines

Automatic test, build and deploy from GitHub or GitLab, with staging, approval for production and one-click rollback. Releases become routine instead of events.

02

AWS and GCP setup

A clean account structure, networking, managed databases, object storage and least-privilege access. Mumbai region is the default for latency and data residency, unless you need otherwise.

03

Docker and containers

Your app packaged so it runs the same on a laptop, staging and production. We use managed container services where possible and avoid Kubernetes unless scale truly calls for it.

04

Monitoring and alerting

Uptime checks, error tracking, server and database metrics, and alerts to WhatsApp or Slack with clear thresholds. A short runbook says what to do when each alert fires.

05

Backups and disaster recovery

Automated database and file backups, off-region copies, and a restore test on a schedule. We agree your acceptable data loss and recovery time in plain terms.

06

Cloud cost review

We tag resources, find idle and oversized items, suggest reserved capacity where usage is steady, and set budget alerts. Savings depend on your current setup and are reported with evidence.

When this is the wrong choice. If you run a simple brochure site or a small WordPress store, managed hosting with automatic backups is cheaper than a custom cloud setup. Kubernetes and multi-region designs are also overkill for most apps below heavy traffic. We recommend the smallest setup that is safe.

How we improve your infrastructure safely

01

Discover

We review your servers, accounts, deployment steps and last three months of bills, with read-only access. We also ask about past outages and what they cost.

02

Define

We list risks in order of impact and agree targets for uptime, recovery time and monthly spend. The plan is staged so the business is never stuck mid-migration.

03

Design

We draw the target layout, environments and access model, and agree a migration window that avoids your busy hours and sale days.

04

Build

We write infrastructure as code, set up pipelines and monitoring, and rehearse the cutover on staging, including a rollback.

05

Ship & extend

We migrate in a planned window, watch the system closely for the first days and hand over runbooks. A website care plan or monthly retainer can cover ongoing monitoring.

What it costs

Quoted after a discovery call

A one-time setup, a migration and an ongoing retainer are priced differently. The closest published anchor is the website care plan from ₹3,750 per month, and cloud hosting charges are paid by you directly to the provider.

  • Number of apps and environments
  • Migration complexity and downtime tolerance
  • Compliance or data residency needs
  • Monitoring and on-call expectations
  • Cloud provider bills, paid directly by you

All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.

Questions we get asked

Do we need AWS, or is a VPS enough?

A good VPS is enough for many small apps. AWS or GCP becomes worthwhile when you need managed databases, auto-scaling, tight access control or better uptime. We recommend based on your traffic and risk, not on fashion.

Will migrating to the cloud cause downtime?

We aim for little or none. We build the new environment alongside the old one, test it, then switch DNS in a planned window with a rollback ready. Databases with heavy writes need extra planning, which we cover in the migration plan.

Can you reduce our cloud bill?

Often, yes, through right-sizing, removing idle resources, using reserved capacity for steady loads and fixing data transfer waste. We cannot promise a percentage before reviewing your bill. Savings are reported with evidence after changes. Reserved or savings plans suit steady workloads, but we do not push them where traffic is unpredictable.

Do you provide 24x7 monitoring?

We set up alerts and can respond in agreed working hours under a retainer. Round-the-clock on-call needs a separate arrangement and cost, which we will discuss honestly rather than imply by default. Many small teams do well with business-hours response plus automatic recovery for common faults.

Who owns the cloud accounts?

You do. We create resources inside your own AWS or GCP account with access we can revoke. Infrastructure code and runbooks are handed over, so you are never dependent on us to reach your own servers.

How do you handle security basics?

We apply least-privilege access, multi-factor authentication, secrets kept out of code, encrypted storage and patched images. A full security audit or certification is a separate exercise that we can scope on request. Regular patching and access reviews can be added to a monthly retainer.
