Vue.js Development for Admin UIs and Lightweight Web Apps
Vue 3 and Nuxt interfaces that are quick to build and easy for the next developer to read. For admin tools, dashboards and content sites.
Vue.js development is a good match for teams that want a gentle learning curve and clean code without heavy conventions. Vue 3 with the Composition API and TypeScript scales from a single widget on an existing page to a full admin application. It is quick to start and does not demand much boilerplate.
We use it often for admin interfaces that sit in front of a Laravel or Node backend, and for Nuxt sites that need server rendering. If your team already uses Vue, we can join and extend. If you are choosing fresh, we will compare it honestly with React. Our advice follows your team and product, not framework fashion.
Where Vue projects lose time
Vue 2 end of life
Vue 2 no longer gets updates, and many plugins have stopped. Apps that still run on it carry growing security and compatibility risk.
Mixed old and new styles
Options API, Composition API and global mixins in one codebase confuse every new developer and invite subtle bugs.
Admin screens built one-off
Every list and form is hand-made. Adding a new module means copying code, and fixing a bug means fixing it ten times.
Public pages not seen by Google
A client-only Vue site may render slowly to crawlers. Marketing pages need server rendering or a prerender step.
What our Vue.js development includes
Admin dashboards on Vue 3
Reusable list, filter, form and detail components, so each new module is quick to add. Role-based menus and clear states for loading and errors.
Nuxt sites with server rendering
Nuxt for content pages, product catalogues and landing pages that must load fast and be indexed. Metadata, schema and sitemaps come with the build.
Vue 2 to Vue 3 migration
We move components in steps, replace unsupported plugins, adopt the Composition API and test each module. Old pages keep working until replaced.
State and data handling
Pinia stores kept small and typed, with API calls in a separate layer. Data stays in step across screens without hidden coupling.
Embedding Vue in existing sites
A search box, calculator or booking widget in Vue on a WordPress or Laravel Blade page, without rebuilding the whole site.
Component documentation
A short living style guide so your own developers or a future vendor can add screens without guessing conventions.
How a Vue project runs
Discover
We list the screens, check the backend API and decide whether pages must be search-indexed. That decides plain Vue or Nuxt.
Define
We agree the component list, data flow and release order, with a written fixed quote for the first release.
Design
We design the reusable parts first: tables, filters, forms and dialogs. Screens are then assembled from those parts.
Build
Vue 3 with TypeScript, typed API clients and tests on shared components. You review working screens on staging each week.
Ship & extend
We deploy, track front-end errors and support you for a month. New modules reuse the component set, which keeps later costs down.
What it costs
Admin UIs and web apps are priced from our web app anchor of ₹1,50,000 (excl. GST), and migrations from Vue 2 depend on code size. You get a fixed written quote.
- Number of screens and modules
- Reusable component depth
- Server rendering needs with Nuxt
- Vue 2 code to migrate
- Backend API readiness
All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.
Questions we get asked
Is Vue.js still a good choice?
Yes. Vue 3 is stable, fast and well documented, with a strong ecosystem around Nuxt and Pinia. The talent pool in India is smaller than React's, so hiring can take longer. For many mid-size apps it gives excellent productivity.
Vue or React for my project?
Both build the same things. Vue tends to be quicker to learn and read, while React has a larger hiring pool and library choice. If your team already knows one, use it. If starting fresh, we discuss your hiring plans and product size.
Can you upgrade my Vue 2 app?
Yes. We assess dependencies first, since unsupported plugins are the main blocker. Then we migrate in steps, using compatibility tooling where useful, and test each module. For large apps, a gradual approach is safer than a full rewrite.
What is Nuxt and do I need it?
Nuxt is a framework on top of Vue that adds server rendering, routing and a build pipeline. You need it if public pages must rank on Google or load content quickly. For logged-in admin tools, plain Vue is usually enough.
Can Vue work with my Laravel backend?
Very well. Laravel serves the API and handles authentication, queues and reports, while Vue provides the interface. We have built admin panels this way, and we can also use Laravel's Livewire if a lighter approach suits better.
Will you hand over documentation?
Yes. You receive source code, setup steps, environment notes and a short guide to the component structure. The goal is that another Vue developer can pick up the project in a day without calling us for basics.
