Hire React Native Developers for Your iOS and Android App

A React Native developer or small pod from our Pune studio, working in your repo and your timezone. You get one codebase for both stores and you own every line.

If you want to hire React Native developers, the first question is whether you need a person or a product. A person means a dedicated engineer on a monthly engagement, joining your backlog and your standups. A product means a fixed scope with a written quote. We do both, and we will tell you which fits after one call.

NioDelta is a software studio founded in 2017 in Kothrud, Pune, with a small bench rather than a large pool. That is a deliberate trade. You will meet the person who will write your code, and we will not staff your project with someone you have never spoken to. Ask us anything about who would join, what they have shipped and how reviews work.

Why hiring React Native talent is harder than it looks

01

Resumes look the same

Many developers list React Native after a few weeks on a tutorial app. The real test is whether they have shipped to the Play Store and App Store, handled a rejected build, and debugged a crash that only happens on a 3 GB RAM phone.

02

Native modules are where projects stall

Maps, background location, Bluetooth, biometric login and payment SDKs often need native code. A JavaScript-only developer gets stuck here, and the delay lands on your launch date.

03

Freelancers disappear

A solo freelancer on another project, a sick week or a better offer can stop your app for a month. You then pay a second developer to read code nobody documented.

04

Agency retainers hide the team

Some agencies sell you a named senior and deliver juniors. You deserve to know who writes the code, how reviews happen and what happens when that person leaves.

What a hired React Native developer does for you

01

New app from scratch

Screens, navigation, state, API calls and store listings, built in TypeScript. We agree the first release scope in writing and keep it small enough to ship.

02

Rescue and cleanup

If an earlier vendor left you a half-working app, we audit it first and tell you honestly whether to fix or rewrite. Sometimes a rewrite costs more than it saves.

03

Upgrades and version debt

React Native versions move fast, and old projects break on new Android API levels that Play Store now requires. We handle upgrades, dependency cleanup and build fixes.

04

Payments and UPI flows

Razorpay, UPI intents, saved cards and COD flows, including the failure cases: payment pending, app killed mid-payment and duplicate callbacks.

05

Push, deep links and offline use

Notification setup with Firebase, links that open the right screen, and sensible offline behaviour for users on patchy mobile data.

06

Release and store handling

Signing keys, build pipelines, staged rollouts, store listings and answering review rejections. The keys and accounts stay in your name.

When this is the wrong choice. Skip React Native if your app is mostly a heavy game, a camera-processing tool or something that needs deep hardware control from day one. Fully native Android or iOS suits those better. If you only need a marketing site, a website is cheaper and faster than any app.

How we onboard a React Native developer

01

Discover

A free call on your goals, users and existing code. We read your repo or designs before we propose anyone.

02

Define

We write down scope, engagement type, working hours, review rules and who your point of contact is. You get a fixed quote for scoped work or a monthly figure for a dedicated seat.

03

Design

The developer reviews your designs for what React Native can and cannot do cheaply, and flags costly screens before they are built.

04

Build

Short cycles, pull requests you can read, and a build on your phone each week. You get repository access from the first day.

05

Ship & extend

We submit to both stores, support you for one month after launch, and can continue on a monthly basis if you want.

What it costs

Mobile app starts at ₹2,00,000 (excl. GST)

A fixed-scope app starts at that figure, with an MVP usually taking 10-12 weeks. A dedicated monthly seat is quoted after a discovery call, because it depends on seniority and how many developers you need.

  • Number of screens and roles
  • Native modules needed
  • Payments and third-party APIs
  • Admin panel or backend work
  • Single developer or a pod

All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.

Questions we get asked

Can I hire a React Native developer for just one month?

Yes, for a defined task such as an upgrade, a bug backlog or a payment integration. A single month rarely suits a new app build, because onboarding takes the first week. We will say so if your goal needs longer.

Who owns the code and the store accounts?

You do. The repository sits in your account, and the Google Play and Apple developer accounts are registered in your name. We take no licence over the code and hand over signing keys and documentation on request.

What if the developer is not a good fit?

Tell us and we will discuss it openly. If the issue is skill or fit, we replace the developer on the same engagement, and the incoming person is briefed on your repo. Exact notice and handover terms go in the written agreement.

Do they work in Indian hours?

Yes. Developers work in IST with a regular overlap for calls, which suits founders in India, the Gulf and much of Europe. Messages go on WhatsApp or Slack, and we share a weekly progress note.

React Native or Flutter, which should I pick?

Pick React Native if your team already uses JavaScript or a React website, or you want to share logic with it. Pick Flutter if you want highly custom visuals. Both ship to both stores, and we will give a straight recommendation.

Can you take over an app another vendor built?

Often yes. We first run a short code audit, covering dependencies, build health and security basics, then tell you whether to fix or rebuild. The audit is quoted after a discovery call, and you are free to walk away with the report.

Ready to scope it?

Tell us what you want to build. You get a fixed written quote after a free discovery call.
