Mobile App Development for Fashion & Apparel

Android and iOS apps for fashion brands that already have repeat buyers, or for sales teams that work in the field.

This page covers fashion and apparel mobile app development: a branded app for Android and iOS from one Flutter or React Native codebase. It suits labels with repeat customers, boutiques with loyalty programmes and apparel companies with field sales staff. We build it once and ship it to both stores.

Be careful before commissioning one. Most shoppers will not install an app for a brand they buy from twice a year. An app earns its place when customers return often, or when your own staff use it daily. We will tell you plainly if your numbers do not support one yet.

What fashion brands need from a mobile app

01

A reason to install

A discount alone is not enough. Early access to drops, saved sizes, order tracking and wishlist alerts give regular buyers a real reason to keep the app.

02

Fast on low-end phones

A large share of Indian buyers use budget Android devices. Image-heavy catalogues must be cached and sized carefully, or the app feels slower than your mobile site.

03

UPI and COD done properly

Checkout needs UPI intent, cards and cash on delivery with a confirmation step for risky orders. A clumsy COD flow is where fashion orders go to be returned.

04

Notifications that are not noise

Push messages about restocks of a saved size are welcome. Daily sale alerts get the app uninstalled. We design the rules before the first message is sent.

What we build for fashion and apparel apps

01

Customer shopping app

Browse, save sizes, check out with UPI or COD and track the parcel. It reads the catalogue from your existing store so you do not maintain two product lists.

02

Loyalty and early-access features

Points, tiers or drop reminders for repeat buyers. Rules are set with you, and the admin panel lets your team change them without a new app release.

03

Field sales app for reps

Sales reps show the catalogue, take retailer orders in size runs and sync when connectivity returns. Useful where reps visit shops in areas with patchy signal.

04

In-store assist app

Boutique staff scan a tag, see stock across sizes and send the customer a payment link. It suits shops with a back room or several outlets.

When this is the wrong choice. If you have one store, few repeat customers and no staff needing a tool, a fast mobile website will serve you better for now. Revisit an app when repeat purchases justify the Play Store and App Store upkeep.

What it costs

Mobile app starts at ₹2,00,000 (excl. GST)

A first working version typically takes 10 to 12 weeks. Store accounts, catalogue sync, payment setup and iOS release effort change the final quote.

Questions we get asked

Should my fashion brand build an app or improve the mobile site?

Start with the mobile site unless buyers return often. If customers already reorder, ask for early drops or you have field sales staff, an app helps. We review your order data on a discovery call before recommending either.

Can the app use the products already on my Shopify store?

Yes. We read your catalogue, prices and stock from the store through its API, so the app and website stay in step. Product edits are made once in the store admin. Stock levels refresh on a schedule, so there is no double entry.

How do you handle size selection and returns in the app?

Buyers pick a size per product and can save a default. Returns are raised from the order screen with a reason and photo. Refund rules are yours, and we build the flow to match them.

Do you publish the app on the Play Store and App Store?

Yes. We prepare listings, screenshots and the release, and handle review feedback. The accounts stay in your name. Store review time is outside our control, so we plan buffer into the schedule. Updates after launch go through the same review process.
