Interior design website development for studios, designers and fit-out firms
Portfolio sites and enquiry flows for interior studios that sell on photographs and trust. For solo designers, boutique studios and turnkey contractors.
An interior design client makes up their mind long before the first meeting. They scroll your projects on a phone, compare three studios in one evening and message the one whose work looks closest to their own flat. Interior design website development is therefore about how your finished rooms are shown, sorted and followed up, not about a template with a logo on top.
We build for designers who work on 2BHK and 3BHK homes, villas, offices and retail fit-outs across Maharashtra and the rest of India. The aim is simple: heavy photographs that still load on a mid-range Android phone, project pages that explain scope and budget band, and an enquiry form that tells you what the client actually wants.
Why interior design websites fail to win clients
Photos are huge and pages are slow
A studio uploads forty camera-resolution images per project and the page takes ten seconds on 4G. The visitor leaves before the living room appears. Images need proper sizing and lazy loading, not just a compression plugin.
Every project looks the same
A grid of thumbnails with no context hides the real selling points. Visitors want to know the flat size, city, scope, timeline and which rooms you handled. Without that, you attract price-only enquiries.
Enquiries arrive with no detail
A one-line contact form produces messages like 'need interior for flat'. You then spend a week on calls to learn the carpet area, possession date and budget. That time is not billed to anyone.
Quotes and follow-up live in WhatsApp
Revised quotes, material choices and approvals pass through chat threads and PDFs. When a client asks what was agreed on the kitchen finish in March, nobody can find it quickly.
What we build for interior design businesses
Portfolio and project pages
Each project gets a page with a cover story, room-wise gallery, before and after pairs, scope list, city and finish notes. Images are resized per device so the page stays light.
Filterable gallery
Visitors filter by room, style, city or budget band. A client with a 1BHK in Pune can see only small-flat work instead of scrolling through villas.
Guided quote request
A short step-by-step form asks property type, carpet area, rooms, possession stage, budget range and a few reference images. The enquiry reaches you in a structured form, with an optional WhatsApp confirmation.
3D and walkthrough embeds
If you commission renders or a 360 tour from a visualiser, we embed it so it loads only when the visitor taps. Videos are hosted on a proper video platform, not inside the page.
Client project portal
Signed-in clients see their own design boards, approved drawings, payment milestones and site photos. Each approval is recorded with a date, which settles later disputes.
Material and vendor catalogue
For firms that sell turnkey work, an internal catalogue of laminates, tiles, hardware and vendors with rates, so a quote is assembled from stored items rather than retyped each time.
How an interior design website build runs
Discover
We look at your ten strongest projects and the enquiries you lost, and note which questions clients ask first. We also check how your photographer delivers files.
Define
We agree project page fields, filters, the quote form questions and whether a portal is needed. You get a written scope and a fixed quote.
Design
We design the gallery and project story on mobile first, with your photographs, so the layout suits your actual image shapes and not stock ones.
Build
We build the site with an admin panel where your team uploads a project in one sitting. We test image loading on slow connections and older phones.
Ship & extend
We launch with schema, sitemap and redirects from any old site, and support you for one month. A client portal or catalogue can be added later.
What it costs
A studio website with project pages and a quote form fits the business website anchor. A client portal or material catalogue is custom software and is quoted after a discovery call.
- Number of project pages to migrate
- Filters and quote form logic
- 3D or video embeds
- Client portal and approvals
- Catalogue and rate management
All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.
Questions we get asked
Can the site handle hundreds of high-resolution photos?
Yes. We store originals but serve resized versions in modern formats for each screen, and load images as the visitor scrolls. You upload normal photographer files and the system prepares the rest, so pages stay light without manual compression.
Should I show prices on my projects?
That is your call. Many studios show a budget band such as 'under 10 lakh' rather than an exact figure. We build the field as optional, so you can show it on some projects and hide it on others.
Can clients upload reference images with the enquiry?
Yes. The quote form accepts a few images or Pinterest links. Files are checked for type and size and stored privately, so only your team sees them. This helps you judge taste before the first call.
Can I add a project from my phone?
Yes. The admin panel works on a phone browser, so you can upload photos from a finished site visit the same day. Captions, room tags and city are filled from simple fields, and the project goes live after you review it.
Do you design the interiors or take the photographs?
No. We build the website and tools around your work. Photography and 3D rendering come from your own photographer or visualiser, and we can advise on image sizes and shot lists that suit the web.
How long does an interior design website take?
A landing page takes one to two weeks and a full studio website six to ten weeks. A client portal or catalogue is scoped separately. Delays are usually in collecting final photographs, so start that early.
