Religious Organisation Website Development for Temples and Trusts

A calm, accurate website for a temple, church, mosque, gurdwara, monastery or religious trust, with timings, events, donation options and live-stream links that your volunteers can update.

This page covers websites for religious organisations of every faith: temples, churches, mosques, gurdwaras, jain and buddhist centres, ashrams and the trusts that run them. The site has one job. Help a devotee, or a family planning a visit, find the right information in under a minute. It suits any faith and any size of congregation.

Most visitors search on a phone, often just before travelling or just before a festival. They want darshan or service timings, the address, parking, the festival calendar and a way to give. We build a clear site that a trust secretary or a volunteer can keep current without calling a developer. Everything else on the site supports that quick, calm visit.

What religious organisations need from a website

01

Timings that are always right

Wrong aarti, prayer or service times cause real inconvenience on a festival day. Timings need one editable place, with special-day overrides and a visible last-updated date.

02

Respectful, simple design

The site should feel like the place it represents. Plain layouts, readable type for elderly visitors and no pop-ups over sacred content matter more than effects.

03

Giving that earns trust

Donors look for clear purpose headings, trust registration details and how receipts are issued. Vague or hidden information reduces gifts.

04

Several languages and scripts

Visitors may read Marathi, Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil or English. Prayers and verses must be typeset correctly, and text copied from scripture needs checking by someone from your tradition.

What we build for a religious website

01

Timings and festival calendar

A weekly timetable with date-specific changes and a yearly calendar of festivals and special services. Visitors can add an event to their phone calendar.

02

Donation page with receipts

UPI, card and net banking through Razorpay, with fund choices such as annadanam, building fund or general. Receipt wording and any tax-exemption details are set by your trust and its chartered accountant.

03

Live-stream and past recordings

A page that embeds your YouTube or other stream, with a start-time banner and an archive of earlier events. It loads light for devotees on weak mobile data.

04

Visitor information and gallery

Directions, travel tips, accommodation, dress guidance and rules for photography. Photos are credited and optimised so the page stays quick.

When this is the wrong choice. If your community already lives on a WhatsApp group and you only need a contact card, a one-page site is enough. A larger site is only useful when someone will keep it updated. An outdated timetable does more harm than having no site.

What it costs

Business website starts at ₹45,000 (excl. GST)

A smaller trust with a one-page layout can start from the landing page anchor of ₹17,500. Larger sites with calendars, multiple languages and online giving are quoted after a discovery call.

Questions we get asked

Can volunteers update timings without technical help?

Yes. We give you a simple admin screen where a trustee or volunteer edits the weekly timetable, adds a festival override and posts notices. It works on a phone. We also write a short handover guide, and you can reach us for the first month after launch.

Can we show 80G or other tax details on the donation page?

We can display whatever registration details your trust provides and set receipt text accordingly. Eligibility for tax benefits, and any FCRA rules for foreign gifts, depend on your registrations. Please confirm the exact wording with your chartered accountant or legal adviser before publishing.

Can we stream ceremonies live on the site?

Yes. We embed your YouTube or other streaming channel on a page with a countdown or live banner. We do not host video ourselves, which keeps costs down and playback reliable. We advise on camera and audio basics so the stream is watchable.

How do you handle photos and content from our tradition?

Your trust supplies and approves all text, verses, images and names of deities or saints. We typeset them carefully and send drafts for review before launch. We do not add or edit religious content ourselves, and we credit photographers where needed.
