Startup Website and App Development: From MVP to First Customers
A small, testable first version, with code and accounts in your name. For founders who need to learn from real users before spending the whole budget.
Startup website and app development goes wrong most often through size, not skill. The first version tries to do everything, runs out of money before users arrive, and teaches the founder nothing. A good first build is the smallest product that lets a stranger complete one useful task and pay you for it.
NioDelta is a Pune studio, founded in 2017, that builds web apps, mobile apps and SaaS foundations for early-stage founders. We argue about scope early and honestly. That conversation often saves more money than any rate negotiation. Expect us to ask what you can test without code in the very first call, before we quote anything.
Where startup builds usually go wrong
Scope that never ends
Every investor chat adds a feature. Without a written must-have list and a cut-off date, a ten-week MVP turns into a six-month project.
Hired once, then stranded
Some freelancers disappear after launch, leaving code nobody can read and hosting in a personal account. The next developer starts from scratch.
Built for investors, not users
A polished deck-friendly demo does not tell you if customers will pay. Real users, real payments and real support questions teach faster.
Costs hidden after launch
Cloud bills, SMS and WhatsApp fees, payment gateway charges and Play Store accounts add up. Founders often budget only for the build.
Startup website and app development we offer
Landing page and waitlist
A fast page that explains one promise, captures sign-ups and tracks where they came from. Ready in one to two weeks from ₹17,500, useful for testing demand before you build.
MVP web app
The smallest set of screens that completes the core job: sign-up, one main flow, payment and an admin panel. Built on a stack another developer can take over.
Mobile app MVP
One Flutter or React Native codebase for Android and iPhone, usually ten to twelve weeks. We plan Play Store and App Store review time into the schedule.
SaaS foundations
Accounts, teams, roles, subscription billing and usage limits set up properly the first time. Retrofitting multi-tenancy later is far costlier than planning it.
Payments and KYC
UPI, cards, subscriptions and, where your model needs it, identity checks through licensed providers. Regulated models such as lending or wallets need legal advice first.
Handover and documentation
Repository, hosting and domain accounts in your name, plus a plain-language README. A new developer or CTO can pick it up without us.
How a startup build runs
Discover
A free discovery call on your user, the one problem you solve and what you can test without code. We tell you if a smaller build will do.
Define
A written must-have list, a not-now list and a fixed quote. Changes after sign-off go through a simple change request.
Design
Clickable screens for founders to test with five real users before development. Cheaper to change here than in code.
Build
Two-week cycles with a working build you can open on your own phone. Payments and admin come early, not at the end.
Ship & extend
Launch, one month of post-launch support and a short list of what to build next based on real use.
What it costs
Landing page starts at ₹17,500, web app or SaaS starts at ₹1,50,000 and a mobile app starts at ₹2,00,000. An MVP mobile app usually takes ten to twelve weeks.
- Number of core flows
- Payments and subscriptions
- Web only or web plus mobile
- Third-party integrations
- Admin panel depth
All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.

Questions we get asked
How long does an MVP take?
A landing page takes one to two weeks and a mobile app MVP usually takes ten to twelve weeks. A web app MVP depends on the number of flows. We give a fixed schedule in the written quote after the discovery call.
Can I own the code and accounts?
Yes. The code repository, cloud hosting, domain and app store developer accounts are created in your name, and we work inside them. At handover, you hold every key and are not tied to us. You can also move the project to another team whenever you like, without asking us.
Should I build web or mobile first?
If your users must be on a phone for the core task, such as delivery or field work, start with mobile. If the job happens at a desk or can run in a mobile browser, a web app is cheaper to launch and change.
Do you take equity instead of fees?
No. We work on a fixed written quote, paid in stages. This keeps the relationship simple and lets you raise funding, change direction or hire an in-house team without ownership questions. If your plans change, you keep full control of the product and its code.
What happens after launch?
You get one month of post-launch support for bugs. After that, you can take the code to your own team, or continue with us on a monthly arrangement or per-feature quotes. Nothing locks you in.
Do you help with investor-ready materials?
We do not write pitch decks or run fundraising. We can provide a clean demo, a working product and clear documentation of what was built, which investors and technical advisors usually ask to see. If an investor asks for a technical review, we are happy to walk them through it.
