iOS App Development: Swift, SwiftUI or Flutter, Through App Store Review
An iPhone app designed for how Apple users expect apps to behave, built in Swift or Flutter, tested on TestFlight and taken through App Store review.
In India, iPhones are a smaller share of phones than Android, but their owners tend to spend more on subscriptions, orders and services. For premium services, fintech, health and B2B sales tools, an iOS app is often what your right customers expect to find. That makes the platform worth a proper plan.
NioDelta builds iOS apps either natively in Swift and SwiftUI or with Flutter, which also produces an Android app from the same code. We help you pick, handle the Apple Developer account, and prepare each build for TestFlight and App Store review, where many first-time apps get stuck. We keep the Apple account in your name.
Common iOS project worries before the first build
Native or cross-platform?
Native Swift gives the closest fit to iOS and the newest features. Flutter gives one codebase for both phones at lower cost. The right answer depends on whether you need Apple-only features or both platforms.
App Store rejection
Apple rejects apps for incomplete login demo access, missing account deletion, unclear payments or privacy label errors. Each rejection round can cost days. Most are avoidable with preparation.
Apple account and certificates
The developer account, D-U-N-S number for organisations, signing certificates and provisioning profiles confuse first-timers. Owning the account in the wrong name causes trouble later.
Testing without owning many iPhones
Screen sizes, notches, older iOS versions and dark mode all change layouts. Without a test plan, bugs show up on the one device you did not try.
Our iOS app development services
Native Swift and SwiftUI apps
For products that lean on Apple features such as widgets, Apple Pay, HealthKit, Live Activities or tight camera and sensor use. The code follows Apple's design conventions.
Flutter for iOS and Android together
One codebase producing both apps, with platform-specific tweaks where iOS users expect different behaviour. This is our usual route for startups that need both platforms.
App Store submission
We prepare screenshots, descriptions, privacy details, review notes and a demo login. We handle review feedback and resubmit, so launch does not stall on paperwork.
TestFlight beta testing
Internal and external testers install builds through TestFlight, with crash logs and feedback coming back to us. You can put the app in your team's hands weeks before launch.
Payments, subscriptions and push
Razorpay or other gateways for physical goods and services, and Apple's in-app purchase where the rules require it for digital content. Push notifications via APNs and Firebase.
Updates and iOS version care
Apple releases a major iOS version every year, and apps need small updates to stay smooth. We offer a maintenance plan covering OS updates, crashes and review resubmissions.
How an iOS app moves from idea to the App Store
Discover
We confirm your audience's devices, the features that need native access and whether the app handles money. We also check who will own the Apple Developer account.
Define
We choose Swift or Flutter with reasons, list the screens and decide what App Store policies affect, such as sign-in options and account deletion.
Design
We design to Apple's Human Interface Guidelines: navigation, gestures, dark mode, and dynamic type for users who enlarge text. You approve a prototype before build.
Build
We ship TestFlight builds every couple of weeks and test on a range of iPhone sizes and a few iOS versions.
Ship & extend
We submit to App Store review, fix any rejection reasons and go live. One month of post-launch support is included before any maintenance plan begins.
What it costs
That is our mobile app anchor, with an MVP typically taking 10 to 12 weeks. Apple developer account fees are paid by you directly and are not part of our quote.
- Native Swift or Flutter
- Number of screens and user roles
- Payments, subscriptions or in-app purchase
- Backend and admin panel needs
- Apple-specific features such as widgets or HealthKit

Questions we get asked
How much does it cost to develop an iOS app in India?
Our mobile app work starts at ₹2,00,000 excluding GST, and the fixed quote follows a discovery call. Cost depends on screens, backend, payments and whether you also want Android. Apple's own developer fee is separate and paid by you.
Should I choose Swift or Flutter?
Choose Swift if you need deep Apple features or an iPhone-only premium experience. Choose Flutter if you want Android and iOS from one codebase at lower cost. For most startups the second is more practical, and we explain trade-offs in discovery.
Do you handle App Store submission?
Yes. We prepare metadata, screenshots, privacy labels and review notes, and respond to Apple's feedback. Approval time is Apple's decision and we cannot guarantee it, but good preparation avoids most avoidable rejections. Our process for each build includes a pre-submission checklist.
Who owns the Apple Developer account?
You should. We recommend creating it in your business's name and adding us as a team member. That way the app, certificates and reviews stay with you if you ever change developers. Our team will guide the setup.
How long does an iOS app take?
A mobile app MVP generally takes 10 to 12 weeks from signed scope, plus review time at the end. Complex features such as payments, live tracking or HealthKit add time, and we state this in the written plan.
Do you need a Mac and real iPhones?
iOS builds require Apple's tools running on a Mac, and we have the setup for it. We test on real devices as well as simulators, since camera, push and performance behave differently on actual phones.
