Restaurant Website Development for Indian Eateries

A fast, mobile-first website for your restaurant, cloud kitchen or cafe, with a live menu, clear timings and direct ways to order or book.

This page covers restaurant website development: the public site that shows your menu, location, photos and ways to order or reserve. It is for owners of dine-in restaurants, cafes, cloud kitchens and small chains who want guests to reach them directly and not only through an aggregator listing. We write the page structure around what guests ask most, so the first screen answers it without scrolling.

Most diners open your site from a Google search or an Instagram link, on a mid-range Android phone, often outdoors. They want three things in under ten seconds: what is on the menu, whether you are open, and how to order. A restaurant site that answers those quickly earns more calls, more WhatsApp orders and more walk-ins than a pretty page with a heavy video header. Speed on mobile data and a menu you can edit yourself matter more than animation.

What restaurants need from a website

01

A menu that is easy to change

Prices, specials and sold-out items change weekly. If updating the menu needs a developer, it will go stale, so the owner or manager must be able to edit it in minutes, with veg and non-veg marks and spice or allergen notes.

02

Phone-first speed and layout

Most visits come from mobile data, often on 4G in a crowded area. Photos need compression, and the call, WhatsApp and directions buttons must sit within thumb reach.

03

Reliable Google details

Timings, address, phone number and menu link should match your Google Business Profile exactly. Mismatched holiday hours are a common reason guests arrive at a closed door.

04

A direct ordering route

Aggregator commissions cut into thin margins. A site that sends repeat guests to your own WhatsApp, phone or ordering link keeps part of that margin with you.

What we build for your restaurant site

01

Menu pages with simple editing

A categorised menu with photos, prices, tags and a sold-out switch. Your staff update it from a login without touching code.

02

Order and booking buttons

Click-to-call, a prefilled WhatsApp order message, and a table booking form that emails or messages the manager. If you run delivery on your own app, the site links to it.

03

Location, timings and branch pages

One page per outlet with map, parking note, delivery radius and holiday timings. Multi-branch groups get a shared menu with per-branch availability.

04

Search-ready structure

Restaurant and menu schema, a sitemap, clean URLs and fast image loading are part of the build, so Google can read your hours and dishes correctly.

When this is the wrong choice. If you want customers to place and pay for orders on your own channel with tracking, riders and kitchen screens, a website alone is not enough. You need an ordering app or web app instead. A single tiny stall with a stable WhatsApp flow may only need a Google profile.

What it costs

Business website starts at ₹45,000 (excl. GST)

A single-page restaurant landing page can start at ₹17,500. Menu size, number of branches and booking features move the final quote, which is fixed in writing after a free discovery call.

Questions we get asked

Should my restaurant have its own website if I am already on food aggregators?

Yes, for the guests who find you outside those apps. A direct site carries your own menu, photos and contact routes, and it never charges a commission. Aggregators bring discovery, your site brings repeat customers, so most restaurants use both.

Can I update the menu and prices myself?

Yes. We build a simple admin login where a manager can edit dishes, prices, veg or non-veg tags and mark items sold out. Changes go live immediately. We show your team how to do it during handover, and the one-month support period covers questions.

Can the website take table bookings or only show information?

It can do both. A basic booking form sends the request to your phone or email for confirmation, which suits most independent restaurants. Live table inventory with automatic confirmation is a larger build and is quoted after a discovery call.

How long does a restaurant website take?

A one-page landing site takes one to two weeks. A full multi-page restaurant website with menu admin and branch pages takes six to ten weeks, depending on how quickly you share photos, menu text and branch details with us.
