Hospital & Clinic Management Software for Practices
OPD, appointments, billing and patient records for clinics and small hospitals, with access control and audit logs from the start.
Hospital & Clinic Management Software runs the daily flow of a medical practice: registration, appointments, doctor consultation, prescriptions, billing, pharmacy and lab orders. The goal is simple. A patient should be registered once, seen quickly, billed correctly, and found again on the next visit, with only the right people able to open the record.
NioDelta is a Pune software studio, founded in 2017. We build practice software for single clinics, polyclinics and small hospitals. Health data is sensitive, so we plan access, consent and logging at the start and not as a late patch. Expect a clear scope and honest limits. We also advise on what to leave out.
What clinics and hospitals struggle with
Queue and registration delays
Handwritten registers and repeat data entry slow the front desk. Patients wait, and returning patients are registered twice under slightly different names. Search by phone number catches repeat patients before a duplicate is made.
Billing leakage
Services given but not billed, package rates applied wrongly, and cash handled without a trail reduce income and cause disputes. Every service becomes a billable line, and discounts need approval.
Records that cannot be found
Paper files and loose reports make follow-up care harder. Doctors repeat tests because earlier results cannot be retrieved quickly. Visit history appears in one screen at the next consultation.
Privacy risk
Shared logins, open screens and unlogged access to patient files create real exposure. Patients trust you with details they tell almost no one else. Individual logins and audit logs show who opened which file.
What Hospital & Clinic Management Software includes
Registration and OPD
Patient registration with a unique ID, token queue, doctor-wise OPD lists and quick search by name, phone or ID. Walk-ins and appointments share one queue.
Appointments
Doctor schedules, online and phone booking, reminders by SMS or WhatsApp and no-show tracking. Reminders reduce no-shows and idle doctor time.
Consultation and records
Visit notes, prescriptions, history, uploaded reports and follow-up dates, visible to the treating doctor and authorised staff. Templates speed up common prescriptions.
Billing
Consultation, procedure and package billing, discounts with approval, advances, insurance or TPA fields and GST where applicable. Daily collection closes cleanly at the end of the shift.
Pharmacy and lab links
Medicine stock with batches and expiry, prescription-to-bill flow and lab order and result entry. Expiry alerts reduce dead stock.
Reports and access control
Role-based logins, audit logs of record access, daily collection and department reports for the owner. Owners see revenue by doctor, department and payment mode.
How we build clinic software
Discover
We observe the front desk, a consultation and the billing counter, and note forms, rates and reports in use.
Define
Modules, roles, billing rules and data-privacy needs are fixed in a written scope with a fixed quote.
Design
Fast screens for reception and doctors, because a slow system gets bypassed, and clear permission levels.
Build
Registration, appointments and billing first, then records, pharmacy and lab, tested with dummy patient data.
Ship & extend
Staff training, parallel run for a short period, one month of support, and later modules such as a patient app.
What it costs
This is our web app and custom software anchor, with the 50% launch discount applied. Pharmacy, lab, insurance and patient apps widen scope and are quoted after a discovery call.
- Number of doctors and branches
- Billing, package and TPA rules
- Pharmacy and lab modules
- Patient mobile app
- Integration with devices or national health systems
All prices exclude 18% GST. See also website costs and app costs.
Questions we get asked
Can the software handle appointments and OPD queues?
Yes. Reception books by doctor and slot, patients get reminders, and walk-ins get a token. The doctor sees a live OPD list. No-shows and wait times are recorded, so you can adjust schedules based on actual patterns.
How is patient data protected?
We apply role-based logins, encrypted connections, hashed passwords and audit logs showing who opened which record. You own the hosting and data. Your clinic should also set staff policies, patient consent practice and retention rules, with legal advice where needed.
Does it support GST, insurance and package billing?
It supports consultation, procedure and package billing, advances, discounts with approval and GST where applicable. Insurance or TPA details can be recorded on bills. Claim submission integration with insurers varies, so we scope it separately.
Can patients see their reports online?
Yes, if you want it. A patient portal or app can show appointments, bills and reports after OTP login. It adds scope and privacy responsibility, so we recommend adding it after the core system is stable.
Do you connect with lab machines?
Sometimes. Many analysers export results in standard formats, and we can import them if the vendor shares the specification. Otherwise, lab staff enter results manually. We check this in discovery, because device integration depends on the equipment.
Can we move from paper or another system?
Yes. We import patient lists and doctor and service rates from Excel. Old paper files are usually not digitised in bulk. Instead, records build up as patients return. We plan a short parallel run so reception is comfortable before cutting over.
