CRM Software Development for Sales Teams
A lead and customer system shaped around how your team really sells, with WhatsApp follow-ups, reminders and pipeline reports.
CRM software development gives your sales or admissions team one place to see every lead, every conversation and every follow-up due today. In India, that usually means connecting enquiries from ads, forms, calls and WhatsApp, then making sure nobody forgets to call back on day three. The system should make the next action obvious for every lead.
NioDelta built Shiksha CRM, an admissions CRM that sits inside a school management system. That taught us what a pipeline looks like when counsellors juggle hundreds of enquiries, and we apply the same thinking to real estate, education, clinics, coaching and service businesses. We start from your process and fit the software to it.
Why teams abandon their CRM
Too many fields to fill
If logging a call takes two minutes, salespeople skip it. The CRM then holds old data, and managers stop trusting it. We design the entry screen to need only a few taps.
Leads scattered across channels
Facebook forms, website enquiries, phone calls and WhatsApp messages land in different places. Leads get missed or contacted twice. Everything lands in one inbox, with the source tagged for later analysis.
No follow-up discipline
Most deals are lost between the first call and the second. Without automatic reminders and overdue lists, follow-up depends on memory. Managers see overdue follow-ups per agent each morning.
Reports nobody can read
Dashboards built for software demos do not answer the real questions: which source converts, which agent is slow, which stage leaks. We build only the reports your team will actually open.
Custom CRM software development features
Lead capture
Website forms, ad lead forms, CSV import and manual entry flow into one list, with duplicate detection by phone number. A source tag on each lead makes ad spend easier to judge.
Pipeline and stages
Stages named in your own language, such as enquiry, visit, application or token paid, with drag and drop movement. Lost reasons are captured so you learn why deals fail.
WhatsApp and calls
Click-to-chat, message templates and a log of conversations, using the WhatsApp Business API where approved. Templates keep messages consistent while the agent personalises the rest.
Follow-up reminders
Tasks with due dates, overdue lists per agent and daily summaries so nothing sits unattended. A daily digest reaches each agent by morning.
Assignment rules
Round-robin or rule-based lead assignment by city, source or product, with reassignment when someone is on leave. Hot leads can jump the queue to your strongest closer.
Reports
Source-wise conversion, stage drop-off, agent activity and revenue forecast, built from data your team already enters. Exports to Excel are always available for your own analysis.
How we build a CRM
Discover
We shadow how a lead moves today, from the first message to the closed deal, and note where it gets stuck.
Define
Stages, fields, roles and channels are fixed on one page. You get a written quote and a phase plan.
Design
A fast data-entry screen designed first, because adoption depends on it, then pipeline and report views.
Build
Lead capture and follow-ups first, then reports and integrations, with your real lead data loaded for testing.
Ship & extend
Team training, one month of support, and tuning of stages and reports once you see actual usage.

Questions we get asked
Why build a CRM instead of buying one?
Buy one if a ready-made tool fits your process and the per-user fee is acceptable. Build custom when your sales stages are unusual, you need tight links to your own software, or paying for many users makes the subscription expensive over time.
Can the CRM send WhatsApp messages?
Yes, through the official WhatsApp Business API. Template messages need approval from Meta, and conversation charges are paid to the API provider. Without the API, we can still offer click-to-chat links and logging, which are simpler and cheaper to start.
Will it capture leads from Facebook and Instagram ads?
Yes. Lead forms can be connected by webhook so new enquiries appear in the CRM within moments, assigned and ready for a call. We also handle website forms and CSV uploads from events or older lists.
Can field staff use it on phones?
Yes. We can build a mobile-friendly web CRM, or a Flutter app for field teams with call logging, visit notes and offline entry. The mobile app adds scope, so we price it separately from the core CRM.
How do you stop duplicate leads?
The system matches phone numbers and email addresses when a lead arrives. Duplicates are merged or flagged, and the original owner is notified. That avoids two agents calling the same person, which annoys prospects and wastes effort.
Can we import our existing leads?
Yes. We import from Excel or CSV, map your columns to CRM fields and report rows that fail. Cleaning is usually the slowest part, so we ask for a sample sheet during discovery and give you a realistic estimate.
